If my area doesn't go to 12/12 untill mid September and the temps in October dip into the 50's F, do you think I will be OK?

well unfortunately noone on this sight likes to inform ppl that your plants will start flowering outdoors far before 12/12. mine started this yr with 15/9.(outdoors plants start to flower when days are getting shorter) keep your eyes peeled because your plants should start showing sex anytime now.

Could yours be an auto flowering strain?

no, it is not, search flowering if you want to, but for a majority of outdoor growers, depending on your location (im in the north north us.) your plant will begin to flower anywhere inbetween early july to early august. last yr mine actually started with just over 15 hrs, it just has to do with the plant recogniseing that it's not getting as much light as it once was.

depending on the size of your plants and your time schedule I have used garbage cans to flower in the middle of summer you can start them a few weeks early if you are really worried

12/12 if it gets dark at 8:30pm put garbage cans over at night and take them off at 8:30am but then this limits you to size but a good way to get 3 outdoor crops a year. :)

have you ever naturally harvested a plant outdoors? don't confuse smokemed, don't worry look at all the forums, about 50% of ppls plants are preflowering already NATURALLY.

The only problem would be less growth if any. Ideal temps are 75-85f optimal. During night around 60-65f.

This man speekth the truth.

12/12 is a purely indoor technique to 'snap' the plants into flowering, as opposed to having the flowering stage gradually onset as it does outdoors.
