So, I have built a flowering room, all from scratch just figured I would share a few pics of it, maybe someone can spring some ideas from it for their own tents, or can give me ideas to improve my own!
The pics start out with the gross room I started out with... I obviously couldn't grow in it the way it sat so I needed to make a smaller room inside of that room that was cleaner. and so I did! I also vapor barrier the ceiling because of the exposed insulation and the wall that wasn't made out of cement. the one in which the door to the room is on.
Dimensions - 5.5'x5.5'x6'
Light - 1000w HPS
240 CFM "Duct booster fan" as the air out take, as well as a second for venting the 1000w light's cool tube.
The frame was made from 2x4s. Then the walls made from panda film. all stapled on and then gorilla taped together, Also I switched to white duct tape as well as the white gorilla tape, just to do so more work where the stickiness of the tape didn't matter as much such as covering over bare 2x4s.
The door is made up of 2 stick on zippers and a piece of Velcro on the bottom. This allows for a roll up door and that can still be secured at the bottom as to direct inward airflow back to the filtered area instead of sucking it all up through the bottom of the door.
Things you don't see in pics - Ventilation system, Both the outtake for the flower room and the cool tube are connected to a T joint and blow the air all straight outside! Which my cat loves since it blows out into an old window well that used to goto my basement, so he stays nice and warm.
Also you don't see the carbon filter, that's because it wasn't installed yet when these pics were taken, it is a homemade one anyways nothing special. Also a filter (just a simple dust filter) where the air flows in from near the bottom of the tent the opposite from the outtake fan.
Here's some pics of my project! Hopefully I spring some ideas for someone that's what I'm hoping with creating this thread! I will go and take some better pics of the outside of the tent, the ventilation, better inside pic (since that one is shit because of the HPS not sure how I'm going to avoid it but we will see) and more pics of it in general when I have some more time! but for now heres some that I already have of when I was working on it and stuff. MORE PICS IN SECOND POST THEY DONT ALL FIT!
