Flowering Since late Feb...Still Dont Look Ready? (Pics!)

So I started flowering the end of February, don't remember the exact date. I have one seed that is LSD (63 day flower time), one seed is a Cheese/Sour Diesel mix, and the two others are unknown. From the looks of it there is definitely one Indica and the other three are Sativa or Sativa dominant. The Indica looks the most ready (all hairs on top cola have turned red and receeded), however, none of the trichomes look like they are ready to cut. I have attached pictures from two of the plants so someone can shed some light.

I will probably wait another week on what I believe is the indica and keep monitoring the other three. Been flushing for a couple weeks now so they are definitely clean. Some of the plants can't even hold their own weight up the top colas are so big!

this your first grow? I'm asking because you should have already harvested this baby. IMO, she looks done bro.. check her trich color.

But yeah, if she's been flowering since fucking February.. then, she should be done by now.

also, if your still feeding her Nitrogen.. stop. She doesn't need any Nitrogen.. in fact, no cannabis plant needs any Nitrogen once they to around the 6th or 7th week of flowering.

Dude that has been ready for possibly a week or more. Cut em down and get to trimming. And less nutes imo next go around

id chop em, as long as most of the pistils have gone orange, and the trichs are to your approval. Chop Chop!

Plant #1 is done should be taken down asap, Plant #2 is past done to the point it has started to regrow (based on the pics, i have seen plants do the before) and should also be harvested asap.
I do not agree with the over nutrient comments, these plants are just past done, they really look good though, a little overdone, but sometimes thats better.

dude harvest right now your ready to go. For comparisons sake I have been flowering a Chem Dawg since February 20th and it has also been painstakingly slow to mature. I'm actually forced to chop it tonight because i'm moving outta my place in a week. She is by my estimate a week early or so. As much as it seems to have been a long flower i still dont feel like they look fully matured, but i agree with cannabisguru, go check your trich's! more cloudy= more heady and more amber=more couchlock. And at the end of the day don't listen to everything you hear, listen to your plants they will let you know what is up. just my opinions though

Hey guys thanks for the replies. This is my fourth grow. The first three were CFL, this is my first HPS!! Growing in Fox Farm Ocean Forest, feeding them nova grow while growing, and nova bloom while flowering. As for the nute burn comment - I'm almost positive it is just the fan leaves dying at the end of the life cycle they didn't have any nute burn during flowing. It might be the plants taking up the nutes from the soil after I've been flushing? Been flushing for several weeks. So I am going to go ahead and harvest the one and only plant with all the pistils turned red/brown today.

The reason I have been skeptical of the other three are the pistils at the top of the cola's are still nice and white and straight out. I've always had them turn red around the same time as the trichomes, and they haven't started receeding back into the bud yet. I know....I know...check the trichomes. I've been checking trich's with a 30x loupe but for some reason I am horrible at being able to tell the color of the trichomes through the loop. They always look cloudy and white and never amber. But, the trichome are very nice and milky white. I've always liked to wait until the pistils at the top of the mail cola die and go red/orange/brown. That is what I've been waiting for but it hasn't happened. I feel like the top of the colas might not ever mature. I'm adding pics of the rest of the plants.

You know what? After looking at the plants in these pics, these suckers are definitely ready to go. I can see a red hue in the buds, especially the lower parts, from the pictures. I'm going to start tonight with the choppity chop.

This is something that is not discussed on here often it seems, indoor grows are great but have some issues, like this you have here. 90% of the plant has finished but the top continues to grow because the environment is still ideal for it to keep growing. If you let this continue too long, it will continue to grow but odds are good that your finished growth will start to throw out bananas in an attempt to continue the lineage. The top of the plant is still super fertile and if some of the pollen manages its way up to the fresh cola you will get seeded.
This doesn't happen with all strains, some are more likely to do it and i have never nailed down a reason for it, but i know that it does happen, so you really have to look at the whole plant and try to judge it as a whole plant.

These threads are great to see in harvesting and curing. 99% of the topics are people asking how much longer and its always give it 3-4 then cut, 1-2 then cut, etc. So rare to find the holy shit chop now you are done!! posts. I'll update after trimming

you need a 100X iluminated scope to see trics propperly.
your plants are going through secondry growth spurt and will puff up if left.
i'd check trics an see if ready b4 chop.
mine had secondry and increased loads the triks were still clear,callyxs swelld to point of bursting.took 2-3 weeks extra to turn milky but the buds swelled huge. just my opinion but i would deffo check triks b4 chop.

A 100x scope is overkill. You don't need to personally be able to identify each trichome from its' neighbor. Most folks say 30x is proper, I get by very well with a 20x jewelers' magnifier.

Posted flowering times on plant descriptions are just to be used as a guideline. I just took off the top half of a Nirvana AK-48 that only started flowering 39 days ago! Most of the pistils were brown and the trichs had started turning amber last week. When you look across the leaves you could see without magnification the brown fuzzy look of ripe trichomes.The other 2 AKs I planted at the same time will need to go another couple of weeks until it's their time to be harvested.
