Google your strain name and look for a description of the genetics. Sites that are selling the seeds will generally list flowering times for their strains, but it will take a little longer than what they quote more often than not.

your going to get ripped apart for asking such a simple question without just looking yourself lol.....ill be nice and tell you what you want to know..in general most strains available cater toward a short grow time and will flower in about 9 weeks from the day you changed to 12/12, some hybrids and sativas can take up to 14 weeks....what strain are you growing? bagseed? well if you dont know the strain you just wait until at least 8 weeks as thats the shortest flowering time aside from only 2 strains ive ever heard of which take 6-7 weeks..at 8 weeks you start to watch it for signs that its done crystals cloud up, more orange hairs, the buds will swell and ripen..you can come back on and ask people if its done thats a much more acceptable question to ask lol

Well i couldnt have because i have no idea of your set-up or strain. My comment was trying to save other members the trouble of having to answer simple questions like this in the future. In the future google it and then if you are still not sure make a thread and give information so we have something to base our estimate on. Eg is it sativa or indica? I gladly answer any question that i know the answer to just as long as it isnt something which could have easily been googled. Good luck with your future grows. :peace:

Thanks sorry bout the simple question i just figuered i would get a straight up answer which i did. It is a bag seed im going to start flowering in about 2 weeks with a 70/30 lighting 70(2700k) and 30(5600k). i have 6 100w cfls right now at 5600k but going to replace four of them with 2700k i just topped so im going to wait 2 weeks to recover i really dont know what strain she is maybe u can tell me!?

no way to tell strain but from the pic i would just say your lighting is a bit far away...flouros should be about 2-4 inches from the plant so that little guy will stretch on you if you dont put some cd cases or bricks under it to bring it up higher...i used 4 100 watt cfls last run to grow five plants to about 18 inches before flowering so you may not need all six lights might be more cost effective to drop a couple but sure cant hurt either! start looking up lst and take some string and just pull that biggest one over and tie it down within a day it will adjust and your secondary shoots will start rising to form a nice canopy

also your soil looks a little dry on the little guy covered by a cup....dont cover seedlings with cups just keep the dirt nice and moist until it has a couple nodes

Looking at the leaves id say its an indica hybrid. Going by that id say you're looking in the ball park between 8-12 weeks.

If its bag seed it could anything from 8weeks to 16weeks.

Most indica dominant strains are ready around week9-10 of 12/12.

Most sativa dominant strains are ready between 11-16weeks of 12/12.

I agree, it looks like an indica dom strain. If they were mine, I'd be expecting it to flowering around 7-9 weeks. I like good bag seeds, they can produce some unique genetics for flowering or crossing.
All the best,
