Flowering too soon. Need to revert to veg stage.

I live in AZ and thought I would get a head start on an outdoor grow so I started my girls under T5 lights in January. They were looking great and more than ready to go outside on March 3rd. It was a little cold some nights but I covered them and they did fine. Problem is that I didn't account for the short days and they all started flowering. They are looking great (photo attached of one) if that was what I wanted but I need to make them go back to vegging. I have added a light on a timer in the garden to stretch the days and make them revert but so far they haven't.

Should I just leave them alone? Cut off the buds (there are a lot)? Any suggestions?

Now i have to admit i know not a damn thing about outdoor growing But I would think and i hope someone corrects me if im wrong. But i would think that if it already started to bud, that it would automatically revert back to veg sooner or later once the spring/summer days start to get longer no?

Since you can theoretically reveg a plant after it goes through flowering, you should be fine once the days get longer.
