flowering with high humidity (but seems ok) advice please??

hi, I 3-4 weeks into flowering my mj plants, I have really high humidity at 66-84%, I have removed my plants from the tent and are now in a room with a dehumidifier (not a cheap one) I have good air circulation and extraction.. the thing I cant get over is that I don't have any damp or water on the walls? on some plants I have sticky thc but nothing on the others, I have searched everywhere for help and advice and tried almost everything to get the humidity down.. any feedback will be appreciated...... 600w hps,,,12L pots (soil)

over 70% is the real danger. remove any resivors or things that can be giving off humidity. and if nothing else get a bigger dehum. the one you have is obviously not working. next 3 weeeks is when you will see bud rot and pm set in if its going to happen

You definetly want to get it under 50% or you can end up running into some serious problems with mold. I paid 200 at home depot for a dehumidifier and it works great. I'd get another one if it were me. Good luck though!

hi guys, I have completely removed everything out of the room and only leaving the essentials in, I have the humidity down to 42% and going to a maximum of 50%,i am very happy at this moment buy I still would like to get it down a wee bit more

40-50% is right where you want to be. Glad it worked out for ya!

Plants grown in high humidity are more prone to mold problems, I've heard.
Am not able to personally confirm.

mold goes something like if you present the conditions(extended periods of wetness) it will grow... just a matter of time before a spore of mold grow somewhere. I have personally observed a sloppy grower who regularly let mold grow on clones/cloning chamber and then just rinse with water maybe and reuse for next round. He ended up getting a internal fungus that grew and destroyed everything...mold in crops all of a sudden, poor health moms, clones, cost him entire grow to be restart with new cuts. and he still does some sloppy shit lol... lesson? dont play with mold... to add to his situation the room is now coated with spores

I have high humidity at different times of the year (70%) and in 4 years of growing indoors never had mold thank god! But it is a real issue outside with a wet fall and is also dependent on the strain as well IMO. But glad to hear you have lowered it.
