Flowering? Yes? No?

So basically, I was just wondering if I should put these two babies into flower.

They are both one month and a half old. Approx. ( i had computer problems and i lost my journal, so i kinda stopped counting everything)
On the left theres my Blue Cheese, and on the right, its some kind of purple strain i think.
They are growing in 3 Gallon pots. And they are now filling the closet(widthxlength, not height)
The plants have still "new branches" or "heads" that are growing, and they are very delicate cause they are new, will flowers grow on it???

With the information i just gave you, would you say i should start flowering now? I dont know if i should wait for them to grow taller. ( but i dont know if they will grow tall and not in overall size now that they are touching the walls)

They're nice looking dude, but if it was me, I'd let em go for at least another 2-3 weeks before starting ur 12/12 cycle, but man nice job. I'm a n00b 2, what kinda lighting are you using?

I would start flowering those right now if I was you, remember they will get 2-3x bigger when they are done stretching from switching to flowering. What kind of lighting are you going to use for flowering?

It all depends on your space.. Longer veg= larger harvest. Also depends on what kind of lights you have too.

Depending what your height limits are, and if you plan to LST or anything will give some input as to whether or not you can wait longer.
They look good, but I would recommend transplanting to a 5 gal. pot at least........
Mine in a 5 gal. pot that I only vegged for a month has filled the 5 gal. pot she is in, and I still have 3 or 4 weeks to go.

Im using cfls obviously, and right now i have about 200w of lighting. For flowering i plan on using 250w of 2500k only.
Also, i dont have any height limit ( like 6feet ). I dont plan on Lst or scrog, or lollipoping or whatever, 100% natural, not touching shit for my first grow.
I dont want to veg them for much longer also, because i dont want to waste time on the big purple, which i dont know its sex yet. The blue cheese is feminized though.

The plants do better with a mix of red and blue light. My ratio is about 4 to 1.

If you are using cfl's for flower do it now! Trust me you will regret it if you let them go any longer. 10 weeks or so from now you will be smokn some nice personal!
