Flowering

I’ve been in flowering for about 2 weeks. I’m trying to see if it is time to give bloom nutes? Are the pistils showing yet?

No ....

continue normal feed until after preflower / stretch ....
THEN you are officially in “ flower “.
Excuse my newbie ignorance, you mean wait until how long into "flower"
I switched mine to 12-12 on 4-20 and having been feeding her twice a week and flushing once. Am I missing something?

10 - 14 days after flip to 12/12 they generally start showing flower. Some strains take longer, like GMO took a month.

you should give them bloom nutes from about week 1. all the way through. until 10 days before harvest. and then you want to flush. if you don't flush then the weed can be harsh on the throat :)

Mine started already did you see my photos on the previous post?
Im growing a Jack Herer, started March 19. She showed her sex within like 3 weeks and the pistils on her now are crazy

Actual studies indicate that flushing doesn't rinse out any nutrient content, actually elevated zinc was the result for some odd reason. Really the best way is to feed to the end but you reduce the strength. Too much Phosphorous is the bad taste causer.

so you think you shouldn't flush and you should keep the nutrients in the plant and smoke the nutes??? c'mon dude that sounds really amateur.

I'll ask you a question... do you think that running plain water through a medium removes nutrients already absorbed by a plant?

What about now? My lights are off but I snuck in and took a pic lol

of course not, but i do think that it will remove any excess nutrients from the main stalks and flush the buds out a little bit. any food that is absorbed by the plant is spent. it's used up in the creating of the flowers

All nutrients extracted from the fan leaves, stems and stalk are absorbed by the forming buds either way... so they are still there. They do not get washed away.

Each to their own, as I've said.

There are white pistils showing and a small bud growing out of the middle, should I take another picture?

If you can confirm pistils locally, you don't really need to. If you want confirmation, you could take a pic that shows the pistils more clearly.
