Flowering

i am about a week and a half from flowering and i am wondering what the best way to go into flowering is?

i have heard that you can go 24hrs off and then into 12/12, then i have heard start at 4/20 then move lights into 8/12 and then finally 12/12, i have also heard of getting the house cold and leaving the lights off for 30hrs then on for 12/12?

any help would be great

Hey pal. I have a good friend who has been growing MJ for about 9 years and he gave me this advice. When you decide its time for your girls to go into flower the best thing to do is to shock them into thinking that end of summer is upon them.

So make sure that in your growing space there is no light leaking in, you can do this by getting in the room with them and turning the light/lights of and look for any light coming in. Fix any leaks there is because they need ( Total ) darkness. Your going to want to leave them in total darkness for approx 36 hours. ( remember this 1 thing ) do not enter that room as any little bit of light will affect them. You can leave any fans on as they will still need fresh air. After the 36 hours, when you enter the room your plants may look a little on the week side. But don't threat as they will soon perk back up when under the sun again. Your girls will then become your lady's as after around 5-10 day they will start to show which sex they are ( hopefully all girls for you ). Then its just a case of looking after them in 12/12.

My friend has always done this and he always gets the results.

thanks very much, do you know anything about the temperature? i was always told it is best to get the room kinda cold?

When you turn your lights off the temp should drop by around 10 degrees anyway and because you are leaving your fans on it should lower it some more. This should be sufficient enough.... You don't want them to freeze to death so no point lowering it any more than you have to. This is a natural cycle that the plants would go through over a period of time, that you are making happen in a 36 hour period and the plant's genetics will understand this....

i start with my bud blood a week b4 switching to 12/12 and a week after. i switch strait to 12/12. never had any problems. but do use a bud promoterin the first stage of flower. you won't be sorry

any recomendations on what kind works the best
