Flowering

Hey guys,

I had 2 strains going for about 2 - 3 weeks then i added another strain to my tent. I been leaving the first 2 in VEG until the 3rd strain catches up.

My question is, when is a good time to flower?

I read that when you start seeing alternating internodes is when you are supposed to. Now I know I can put it into flower and force this at any time, but I want to do this right. Right now my first 2 are around 2 feet give or take and the newest one is about a foot.

Rocklock and lemon skunk are the first 2 and the newest one that I am waiting on is BubbaKush.

Do you guys think I should throw them into flower or wait another few days to a week? My tent is like 6.5 feet tall so I have enough room if I need it.

They are also in 3 gallon containers.

I must admit i want to put them into flower now because I am getting excited, but I will be patient if waiting will pay off.

As long as the youngest one is at least 12 inches go for it!!

eh, you don't have to wait until the plant is 12" tall to start the flowering process.

you can flower them anytime you want man.

Yeah there is no magic number. SOME people wait for a certain height, or alternating nodes, etc. Just remember that your plant can double or even triple in size in flowering. Start flowering when it works best for you, not someone else. Good luck man!

I wait for 15-20" until I go into 12/12 but I have done a straight to 12/12 plant and it worked.
