Flu shots - 2010

Hi folks,

I got a Flu shot last Friday and I thought I would let you know how it effected me.

I still feel sick. (Not as bad as the flu) I usually don't get a flu shot, but I was at my doctors office and the nurse asked if I had had my flu shot yet. So she gave me one.

I felt bad after a day, but didn't sweat it. Then I had congestion and a running nose most of the week.

Starting to feel better today.

Has anyone else had any issues with this years Flu Shot

Dude i never get more then a runny nose or cough, that needle scares me, i'm afraid to mess with my natural immune system.
I can understand if your immune system is messed you may need the extra help but i'm a 28 female that has never gotten it.
I live in canada, its free here (not sure if it is elsewhere) but i pass every year. If i get a little cold i stay in, gets lots of rest and tons of fluids to flush my system.

Im also in Canada and I deny the flu shots every year too. Fuck that shit! way too many side effects for that to even be a viable option.
I never get "the flu" or anything, so... yeah I'll pass on the flu shot

it gives u the flu kinda man its the same principle as giving a puppy a parvo vaccine it gives them the actual virus and they build an immuinity to it

I've never gotten a flu shot (not sure if my parents used to make me get one when I was little though...). I've never gotten the flu.

I don't remember ever having the flu.

Lol, I never get sick... Plus I have some weird genetic mutation that made me immune to childrens diseases like mumps and pocks and measles.
That doesn't mean I don't have health issues, just that I have a healthy immune system...too healthy infact.
