Fluro Lighting question

So ive been doing reading on fluro lights and the best types to use. I have 4 t8's 4ft next to eachother over 5 PPP Nirvana seeds 3 weeks old. From what ive read, for veg stage, cool lights are the way to go. However i also read a spectrum around 6500k was idel, which would be a daylight fluro rather than a cool, being 4000k.

At the moment I have 2 cools, 1 daylight, and 1 PowerGlo light which has a spectrum of 18000 (came free)

Is the PowerGlo worth having in there or would it be better to have another Daylight or cool or even warm, what combination should i use. help much appreciated.

I use a combination of bulbs in my fixtures . I use mostly 4' fixtures with 2 bulbs. I use (1) 6500k and (1) 3500k.
This is a daylight and a warm white bulb. I used to just use all 6500k bulbs and noticed an improvement adding the warm white bulb. It gives the plants in veg a taste of multi spectrum lighting. I don't know if that PowerGlow light is doing you much good. If I were i your position I would alternate (2) 6500k and (2) 3500k bulbs in the fixture. Good luck with your grow.

I'm using a mix of 2700k and 6500k 4' tubes (for my, uh, tomatoes).

Somebody posted this chart a while back, I found it quite helpful:

i´ve got a 2 fluo setup for clone/veg state with 120 cm 40 watt tubes in them. The tubes are dieing. The only reseller i can get to stocks Harden solely.

After inspecting them on theyre site and on the packaging I noticed PowerGlo 18k & the nm spectrum on the package shows peaks in the blue spectrum and some tighter peaks in the red spectrum. So i started woundering how much the 18oook really means as far as which colors are more intense. Are they even that much of a guideline in hardens case?

Anyhow it seems to me looking at theyre site that a PowerGlo / AquaGlo combo really covers the blue and red spectrums i´m striving for on my clone/veg tabel.

Am I totally off ?
Is there a better Combo in Harden world?

or should i just save my money and buy a standard cool white and a standard warm white fluo from the local shack ?

Thanx in advance gang im really kinda in doubt here and dont know where to turn other than here =)

cheers ...jut
