Flush or chop ?

Definitely pretty close to chop ... but how are the trichs looking? Have a peek at them through a loupe or magnifying glass - and if they are cloudy with some of the bulbous tips beginning to turn amber, you are good to harvest.

Looking at the zoomed in pic it looks like there is still a lot of hair recession to go and a fair bit of swell to come.

Would like a closer and clearer look at some of the buds tbh.
I will get you some first thing tomorrow.. here's some but this was 14 days ago..20200110_161906.jpg20200110_161906.jpg20200117_173355.jpg <---- 20200110_161906.jpg20200117_173355.jpg6 days ago

These were taken 2 weeks ago? The white hair still significantly outnumbers the brown hair. When the bud is about 2/3 brown hair, that's when you start looking at the trichs with a loupe. Perhaps once we see a recent pic, we can reassess the white - brown hair ratio.

... Here we go this is today, day 59 of flower what do you think buddy ? ...
I might not be the buddy you were hoping for - but it looks like there are a few more brown hairs in your recent pic. There are some fan leaves with some pretty big and brown tips. After 8.5 weeks of flower, the plant might be on it's last legs.

If you don't have a loupe or magnifying glass, you can also test some of the LARF - the popcorn buds further down below - and see if you get a hum that works for you. I am still a fan of the pipe so when I test, I nip some LARF, put it into a pipe, keep hitting it with a flame and drawing normally. The first few times, you won't get SFA ... but eventually, it will dry out and you can get a few normal tokes. You can test with a vape as well if you don't have a pipe.

If you like the buzz ... you can start your harvest.

I'm team "give another week". And that's always a great rule of thumb to go by, if you're not sure if it's time to harvest or not, wait another week. And by that next week you'll be sure it's time.
All my years on this site I've never heard of anyone cutting too late. I would go as far as to say almost 80% of the time buds are harvested even from people on this site they still cut too soon. We as Homosapiens are not known for our patients.

Not exactly. What I am saying is your picture from 14 days earlier does not show many fan leaves that have browned. In your last picture. there are some of the fan leaves with curled brown tips. I didn't say unequivocally that she was done today - but you are getting close. "Last legs" could mean a few more days to a week.

What I am advocating ( for a third time in this thread ) that you do is:
  • use a jewelers loupe or a magnifying glass to inspect the trichomes for cloudy stems and an amber color in the bulbous tops. If they are cloudy with amber on the top, you are good to chop. If not, wait for a few days then check again.
  • If you don't have a loupe or magnifying glass, test some of the lower LARF. If you get a buzz that floats your boat, you can chop. If the buzz does not turn your crank, wait and check again in a few days.

I want them to swell and have as much weight and density possible though.. so let them go as long as I can really
