Flush or not?

Hi all,
First grow here.

Lights- 216w t5s
Soil- promix cc in 3 gal pot
Nutes- vegamatrix
Grow room- 5x5
Seed- pineapple express auto
age- 17 days

I have 3 seeds going, my PE isn't looking so hot, the other 2 (chemdog auto and green crack auto) are looking good. After research my best guess would be nute burn and/or overwatering. It got 1/2 strength Vegamatrix week 1 nutes at week 1 and 1/4 strength at week 2. I'm finding that I probably shouldn't have given it nutes so early. So my questions are, which is the issue, or is it both? And if it is both, should I flush for the nute burn if it's already overwatered? It hasn't grown much in a week now.

Autos don't do well when stressed, just no time to recover. Let her go with water only, or try flushing, probably won't matter. Might be best to learn from mistake and drop another seed.

Hey Im a newb too but I may be able to help you.

Did you amend the soil at all? Like adding perlite or any nutrients?
I'm asking because the promix Cc is coco coir and peat there aren't any nutes added to it.

Growing in Coco is a lot like growing in hydro they need to be fed a lot more frequently than soil you should read some tutorials on growing in CC if you haven't. My newb opinion is that you probably shouldn't flush just lower the nute strength make sure your ph is inline get some calmag or Epsom salts if you are using RO water and get a good watering routine going they will bounce back.

Thanks.

The only thing other than the vegamatrix nutes it's received was some Myco Blast, which is endo- and ectomycorrhizae. It has some perlite in it out of the bag. In my research I've read that people cut it with more coco for additional drainage, there isn't much in there. I think that's why I have a overwatering problem, it doesn't have proper drainage. I'm not getting any run-off and the container is still heavy after a week. I've been planning on adding more perlite and cc for my next grow. The vegamatrix guys recommend the promix, I think the idea is that their nute system is supposed to provide it with everything it needs so they don't want you starting with anything in the soil. The PH was high which was the only reason it got a second watering/feeding, I was trying to bring it down but I only gave it a small amount of water because it was still showing signs of overwatering.

youll be fine man, only the oldest fan leaves are damaged, plant has healed, stop nutrients now until the plant tell you its hungry.
your nutes rock, tough to fuck up

Gotcha, thanks. Would it be a good idea to trim off the damaged leaves so the plant isn't wasting energy on them? Or just leave it as is?
Hey mate, if it was me i would give them a very good flush with just PHed water just to make sure you get all the nuits out of there because the new growth looks okay but you might have the same problem a bit later on so a quick flush could save you in the long run because as bugeye said because its an auto you don't have much time for the plant to recover so the sooner you can stop the problem the better and a flush will never damage a plant because it will still uptake what it needs its just getting rid of the build up in the medium. when it doubt flush :)

as for the leaves i always leave mine until they are just about to fall off the plant them self's its just another stress your going to add to an already stressed plant :)
