flushing 14 days before harvest!!! questions

im growing in soil organic mix using some bio root nutes
1,800 ppms no burns at 14 before harvest
i flushed 10 gals thro each 5 gal soil smart pot
now my ppm are 500 is that low enough is what im asking
ill just be watering ph water from now also my ph on run off was 6.7
ph going in was 5.9
any tips will be greatly thanked

:-)
if you keep feeding pure h2o then the ppms will go down to the waters ppm over time. I go by what the trichomes look like, and my finall ppm is around 350, usually where i start it out at in the beginning.

i have posted this in a couple of places but just bc they are in MI doesnt mean their good haha many ppl around dont even flush they say they dont have to bc their in soil but im not gonna be smoking my nutes they can if they want haha
this is just for personal im not selling to no shop yea trichmes are starting turning cloudy thats why i started flushing

im not sure what my soil run off ppm at start was but like i said only nutes i have using is bio root also
my soil isnt that feeds for 6 months it has no nutes in it i mix cow compost so my ppms are really just from that i was like damn when i saw it was 18,000

Well most of us in the Mitten are wise enough to know flushing is for toilets...I am going to check your link/grow out and respond from there. 1800 ppm soil plants may need to have the bowl evacuated.

Water "o2" molecules don't bond to fertilizer molecules well so your "plain water flush" may be flushing out fertilizer molecules but a slower rate than using something like water with molasses , sweet or "sugaree by cutting edge" which have carbohydrates and other molecules that have a better bond.
Also, if you are just using plan watering as a flush for two weeks you are hurting yourself, plants gain alot of weight in the last two week of their life. By simply flushing with water for the last two weeks you are "starving" your plant, use more organic style nutrients for the last two weeks like budswell which is high in P , seaweed, which is high in K , sugaree which is a sugaree carbohydrate or even botanicare's Pure Blend Pro "Bloom" .. Don't ever starve your plant for two weeks ! Ever !!

thank yea i wasnt even sure about flushing in the first place everyone says to do it but ive never i only grow for my self so im trying to make it better everyone has told me being organic soil i dont need to flush

Thats a really good point jpill. The o2 molecule bonding thing. Especially with his high ppm water(which is not a problem, mine is 280@7.8pH)thats already holding many bonds. If you really want to flush then distilled water is the way too go. It generally carries a negative charge and is ready to create new bonds to fill the void. I mean if your going to flush, at least do it Bundy style......

I back down from 600-700(my max feeding in flower on average)the last 3 weeks or so to around 300-400(water ppms included in both)and then just water the last watering or 2. Harvest, dry and cure properly, enjoy.....:bigjoint:

edit: before somebody bust my balls, no I am not reading a meter. My numbers come from using basically the same things for along time and notes from the meter days. And I feed 8 out of 10 waterings during the grow.

thank you and make 600-700 during flowering if you dont mind me asking how much pulled off each plant dryed
also what light im only using a 400 watt hps for 4 plants and think ill only be pulling 1 oz per plant... :( kinda said about that but first time growing the strains kandy kush and agent orange both a kush stain

It was interesting to read that ya'll don't like flushing for two weeks prior to harvest. I always have. But I'm open to suggestions and new information. What kind of meter measures PPMs...I've never done that, but I use reverse osmosis water...

This is my last harvest. 3 Wappa clones. 400 Hortilux start too finish. Basic peat/ewc/perlite with dolomite mix and FF Grow Big, a touch of Tiger Bloom. 3x3x5 tent yielded just under 16 ounces...

New to me...I'm using Botanicare pure blend pro Bloom. I'm going to look into this a bit more ;)
