Flushing from Veg to Flowering

I've always just changed nutes from grow to flower and have no problems. Someone told me it's better to flush the grow nutes out then start the flower nutes. Anyone else do it this way? I've had a few grows and they all went well but one and that was mother natures fault so if it's better and majority opinions usually rule.....

I am using something this new this grow and it's working the best of anything I've ever seen so far. My soil is Happy Frog Organic and I am using only FloraNova-Grow(still veggin) and then I got FloraNova-Bloom for flowering. I heard it's a strong nute and it's hit or miss but this thing is hitting because my roots are massive! A few pictures I think are on here of a grow I did a few years back and those bitches had awesome roots and that was with a boatload of CFL's. This is with a 400MH/HPS so it's on.

The clones I got going I have not added anything is I am new at cloning. So far it looks like 5 of 6 are rooting. The one is very small(wife cut it lol---A for trying) but the rest are going to work. I am going to add nutes in a week I think and put them in the last place they will call home. The plan is to veg for 2-3 weeks tops and get big asap to catch up with the 2 I got in LST mode. The 2 in LST should be around 3-3 1/2 ft maybe more by then for sure that's minimum. LST is so easy anyone can do it and it's going to I would half to bet almost double and maybe more the yield. Popcorn will be almost minimal and they will all have light so I can't wait. I figure when done flowering I should have 2 plants both over 8 ft and might be closer to 12 ft each and my last grow with cfl's I got 2 z's a piece so go figure :) PUMPED HERE LIKE THE AEROSMITH ALBUM!

I agree. Flusing that often is something I do in hydro with salty nutrient that really builds up on your medium. If I didn't flush my hydroton every so often all the buildup from the Gen Hydro nutrient would clog up my system and fuck with my ph so bad.

In soil however, you'll probably be fine. With the way you should be feeding every other or third watering it kinda helps reduce those issues and I don't think it makes much difference. Unless you have wild ph fluctuations or some other problem I wouldn't worry about it.

I agree, I always run Florakleen through my plants when they go from one garden to the other. Good to do every few weeks too or anytime you see buildup on your grow medium.
