I'm seeing different thoughts on when to start flushing. What is a fail-safe way when to start?? Thx
The old standard was two weeks before finish if you gotta do itI'm seeing different thoughts on when to start flushing. What is a fail-safe way when to start?? Thx
Never!!!!I'm seeing different thoughts on when to start flushing. What is a fail-safe way when to start?? Thx
Okay. How do you tell the difference between lockout and nutrient burn? There’s no need to flush unless you’ve got a lockout from synthetic nutes. Other than that flushing doesn’t do anything except starve your plants.
That's what I was wondering also. Indoors it's possible though but I never think ahead. Seems possible like it could be counterintuitive.Never!!!!
Is a plant grown outdoors in soil ever flushed? No.
I'd bet it would be hard to tell the difference between to flush or not to flush regarding taste but who knows, not me.The old standard was two weeks before finish if you gotta do it
It's like putting your girls on a water only fast.I never flush in soil, either.
A picture would be helpful, but unless you're using synthetic nutes a lockout is highly unlikely.Okay. How do you tell the difference between lockout and nutrient burn?
I would argue that it's actually flushed every time there is a long and/or heavy rainstorm. Which says a lot about the effectiveness of flushing soil...Never!!!!

You beat me to the study. I was the one who originally posted it.There was a fancy study. Individual people noticed different flavors between flush/no flush, but there wasn't a consistent result. Like some people thought one was better, and other people thought the other was better.

How many plants are you growing? You should try to flush some for 2 weeks and fertilize some all the way and see which you like better. Or if there is any difference at all.
I think there is a difference but best way though is to find out for yourself maybe try flushing half your crop and not the other half dry and cure it right and see what you prefer what jar your reaching for moreI'd bet it would be hard to tell the difference between to flush or not to flush regarding taste but who knows, not me.
I've only been infusing so I'm pretty sure I couldn't tell there, might give me an excuse to burn one.I think there is a difference but best way though is to find out for yourself maybe try flushing half your crop and not the other half dry and cure it right and see what you prefer what jar your reaching for more
6 with 3 strains. Here's an old pic when they were being under fed ignorantly. I'm shooting for quality and potency but only usually infuse, I'm guessing the only difference with burning versus infusing would be a better taste for burning. There was a fancy study. You do have a point. Flushing indoors is more of a washing or purging in a contained medium.I would argue that it's actually flushed every time there is a long and/or heavy rainstorm. Which says a lot about the effectiveness of flushing soil...
