Mmmm,,,,yummy! You are Sooo correct Riddle!

Over the years I have toured cigar factories, growing areas and curing facilities in the Dominican, Spain and CUBA.....
One time I actually asked a Tobacilara (oldest cigar company in the world - Headquartered in Spain. Now combined by a sell out to another cigar great) grower if they "flushed" any tobaccos? When he got the translation.....He gave me the most confused look and said "What ever for?"

The best ash is gray with small black flecks interspersed. That stays on the stick till your almost done! The longer the ash, the better the stick quality!

RH IS a major factor in any tobacco smoked!

And for anyone who knows, YES, that IS a real Cuban Cohiba "X" Aniversario! I have 4 left of a box......

Really looking forward to the release this summer of the Cohiba Majestuosos 1966 50th Anniversary Edition! Rumors of some real old tobacco's they had stored from the pre embargo days as going into what is a very limited release of about 1600 box's....I have mine pre ordered in the Bahamas at a Chiba owned cigar shop in Atlantis...The house torcedor told me about them while rolling a 10 year old Cuban leaf tobacco cigar (Called a green). The ability to order had just opened and I jumped on it......
Cost me a $900 emerald ring to cool the wife off over the cigar box price :cuss:

It's ALL in the cure kiddies, all in the cure!

Dr. Who I like you man. I've fought with you and we've had it out a few times and you always roll in with for good information. I'm curing as we speak. Doing t the right way. Have a good day Who. Thanks for sharing the story.

PS -- we made iceolater hash with really fresh sugar leaf only. Now we're drinking the water. We're getting so stoned -- the water is clear and yellowish and tastes like the weed smells without the fresh cut grass.

Update. Drank 8 oz of it and hung out on the strip all day here in Vegas and walked around with the family. Wow! Took OxyContin for years and stopped about 4 years back and switched exclusively to marijuana. Drinking the bubble water eased every ace and pain mind and body all day long so far.

I have no idea where this link between ash colour and flushing comes from. The colour of ash/coal is determined by the temperature at which the substance is burned at . There are many factors that can affect the burning temp primarily moisture content.

UncleBuck you've got quite the following of Benrie fans. How broke are you anyways to hate republicans so much and to blame business for your woes like you do?

And wouldn't it make since to say less contaminates in the weed the less black and dark grey it turns out? Smoke both weeds side by side. If your just a drug users and don't care about medical quality cannabis don't comment on my threads.

Are you referring to a water cure?
does the white ash mean a smoother or more flavorful smoke?
Bless,
DZ
those who flush, post your white ash pictures.

Those who don't, post yours.

I have been smoking bud from the delivery services and it's always blackish grey.

My crop I cut this morning after a quick dry in the air dryer and with the hash off the fiskars ash is pure white. Flushed the first week with flawless flush at 4.0 ph and let it rise to 6.5 and let it flush another week in water.

I'm amazed at the results. Let's see yours. No trolling unless you've got proof. No trolling if you have pictures only share methods and reasons you think bud gets blackish grey ash.

A long time grower told me if the hairs and crystal look right and the leaf tips turn brown and curl up your harvest is ready. But if your not that far along it could be pH issues or some deficiency. Someone told me margensium was to blame and to add a tsp per gallon of Epsom salts.

Well the issue here is what you are calling "contaminants".. nutrients arent contaminants,we eat them everyday and if we dont we eventually get sick and die.And while we are on that subject...why are you drinking the "contaminated" water?. Honestly this thread is one of the dumbest ive seen yet..

Guess what....theres nutrients in there too...at least you better hope so if you want to be healthy.
Wait, nutrients? Why would you flush those out lol. You can't do that. That's ridiculous. your making the plant eat every bit of fertilizer it has stored so you don't smoke it or eat it and you do this by starving them so they eat their leaves for food right before they ripen. Argue all you want the water is wonderful and my weeds is damn good. You do you and I'll do me.

As I said..what do you think these "contaminants" are?

Fertilizer = nutrients.

Stop being obtuse..read a book once in a while instead of just talking to your stoner friends, you might learn something.

You can't get rid of what the bud has already absorbed no amount of flushing or cureing can change that

Have you ever actually sent your stuff to a lab to test your theory or are you talking out your other hole?
