Hey guys my system is an ebb and flow table i use regular tap water from a well for my system... my question is this... would flushing with RO or bottle water be better/more beneficial for my ladies?? also... what is the real benefit from using RO vs my reg tap water from a well?

...the obvious answer is the ec/tds will be much lower w/ the reverse osmosis water. The EC/TDS is the electrical conductivity or total desolved solids in your water or elements or fertilizers. In hydro, I flood my bed with clearex for 1 hour, then flush w/ RO and sweet.

Bottle water.. what the hell are you going to use Evian?

Use the RO, a flush means no nutes. RO will take out your taps nutes.. Viola.

I like getting the Distilled water from the grocery store. comes out at 1 ppm. label says reverse osmosis, carbon filtration and some kind of uv light process. Bout as pure as you can get.

I usually Flush for two days with straight distilled and watch the ppm it'll usually shoot up to 150 or so. I then change the water and repeat the process another time or two and then for the rest of the two weeks I use a product called The Final Flush from grotek. Nice clean smoke.

I read somewhere on this forum it's better to use a real small amount of nutes to flush, just my 2cents:)
Can you explain why?
Doesn't make sense to me since the whole point of flushing is to remove ALL nutes prior to harvest to have the cleanest smoke possible
