Start flushing when you see amber trics. I normally flush then feed only ph'd water for the last 10-14 days

So you are saying if I have my girls in 5 gallon buckets in order to flush them I need to run 15 gallons of water through each bucket? That sounds like a bit much to me... :leaf:

15gal is a bit much. I think 3x is a standard answer for the majority of growers that use one or two gal pots.

Yeah I was thinking 15g was a little much. when I flushed I used 2 gallons or a lil more seemed to do the job for me. :leaf:

I was just talking to a fellow grower on here that swears by NOT flushing. He said someone gave him a theory and he tried it out and has never looked back. But yeah....I flush :hump:

So there should be some overflow every time you water during flush?and then immediately get rid of the overflow water so the roots at the bottom dont suck up any left over nutes left in the pot if doing a soil grow ?

its a flush not a over feeding or a little over watering. 3 times the amont the soil. You are stripping the nutrients from the soil and it takes a lot of water to do that. The reason is to let the plant pull what it needs from itself that it has stored in the leaves. So you will not hurt the plant by doing this. Try adding a small amount of molassas at the end of the flush. organic, sweet good
