u guys are just regurgitating info youve heard regurgitated on the net a hundred times. you dont KNOW theres nutes in your leaves because there arent. your just swearing by what youve heard others swear by. why dont you think for yourselves instead of letting others do it for you.

im not even trying to get you guys to stop flushing, just to stop telling people its the only way.

I agree with Slik. I've never tasted a difference. I've done both, and now I don't bother with a flush. I also don't keep my soil totally stoked up on nutes. By the time they are harvested, the plant is basically starting to shut down. It's cycle is complete, it's done, it's hardly drinking and it has a choice to use the nutes or NOT. At that very end of a grow, the plant is not nuting up. What's the point in that? Nature is lazy.

Curing ..... cures all.

Hey Slik, Were you able to fight off that balloon....

nobody thinks for me i handle my own and i am not telling people that "its the only way".
everyone does things differently and i am set in my ways just as you probably are and thats fine and there is no need for debating the subject as we are all here to help one another.

it was tough, but i aint letting any balloon beat me.... just got back from california for EDC. it was the biggest dance music event stateside to date. top notch show IMO. battles a few ballons and whatnot there as well.

its cool, man. but i do feel that debate is how we do our best learning. i used to be set in my ways untill a few debates with a few people who disagreed with me changed my ways.

:peace:

definatelly and i dont want to waste a crop or 12 weeks growing by going about not flushing just incase it turns out to taste like shite.
then i really would be pissed off.

yes, it will only taste better after the cure. But after a few grows, you'll know how it will taste AFTER the cure before you ever harvest it.

do you mean a few grows of the same strain ???????.
sorry for asking but i am not sure what you mean.

No, it doesn't have to be the same strain. After awhile you know what the end product will be. An uncured harvest may be a bit harsh, but the taste it will become is hidden inside. Your taste buds will amplify it once they know what to look for.

i only have a few grows under my belt and have never tested my bud before harvest or before properly drying and curing it but i see what you mean and will give it the early flavour test on my next grow to experience it for myself but untill then i dont know what i havent tried and only experience will tell and i am sure i will learn something new.
THANKS.

I think the sugar water.... (don't use sugar by the way) is a compromise I can live with. It will have no effect on the taste but it does give some carb's to the plant, if it wants them (I doubt it). Use molasses instead of sugar. :peace:
