Flushing?

Most have found that "final flushing" simply deprives the plant of it's nutrition at the most critical (The bulking period) time.
They have found that "flushing" really does nothing to improve "flavor" etc. if you do a PROPER cure!

I have not "flushed" in years......If I run a synthetic run for some odd reason. I might run straight water for the last week without adding a feed, but I do not do a "flush" by running large amounts (2 or more X the pot size in gallons of water/flush agent) through my pots! That only serves to increase my drying time.

The rule of thumb would be to ensure a proper cure! Do not short cut!
This is how I do mine.
Cut down plant and trim buds. Place buds into drying area with temps at 70 and humidity at 50%. Small exhaust fan running to "pull" air across drying buds.
Dry till remaining stem "crack" and not "bend" in half.
Place all now "dry" buds into Mason jars (I use 1/2 gallon jars available in my area. Quart jars are just fine) cover finger tight - no strength used to tighten. As I do my daily work in the grow I open the jars every day for a few min while I work and finger tighten them again when done. I do this for 2-4 weeks depending on the jar size....the bigger the longer.
I can only say for you to try a joint/bowl at 2 weeks from a qrt jar and see.
Does it taste smooth and not harsh?
Is the ash white or light gray?
Burn smooth?
Then you can say your done if you feel it's good. Weight out your jars and seal them tightly, your done!
Not quite to where you think it should be?
Give it another week and try again...

Good Luck
