Not any worries on the term, it's just that there is a myth that if you're growing in soil you need to run a shit load of water through it weeks before you harvest and not run any nutes. Growers are starting to think in the big picture, like, how do plants actually live. If you do the typical "flush" you're basically flooding a plant. That's stress and you want as little stress as possible in these sensitive weeks of flower. Farmers don't "flush" their crops and they are doing shit much worse than we are to plants(most of them, anyways) Just think of basic botany and use this website

The biggest thing with non-organic is salt build-up...in my experience a little does no harm. You're going to get your purists who swear that you'll get black ashes and terrible taste if you don't flush. I may cough here and there, but fuck I get high as shit without ever running any extra water through my system. Any my ashes are white, not that that matters to me in any way. Taste and density are my main concerns.
