So to start off I started growing by accident. I threw some seeds I found in some bud into a pot with a house plant in it. To my surprise they started growing so I kept going with it. I found I really enjoy doing this so I figured I'd use these first plants as a chance to learn as much as I can before buying some real seeds.
So the problem is these brown burn looking spots and yellow specks on some of the leaves. The new leaves on one of the plants are curling up and and are dark at the tips. Also some of the new stems are purple and I'm wondering if these are deficiencies. The medium is moist but not soaked. I haven't watered my plants since Monday, it is now Friday. During that watering I used 2 cups of water mixed with 1 Tablespoon of Xtreme Gardening Azos for each plant.
I didn't have a fan in the grow box at first and I misted the plants with water but stopped when I noticed the brown and yellow spots.
I'm using a 60/40 mix of FoxFarm Ocean Forest and Growstone Soil Aerator.
My water pH is around 6.2/6.3
I haven't used any other nutrients besides that one watering with Xtreme Gardening Azos.
I did start them in MiracleGro and sat them in my window because I didn't know any better. Which might also be why they had been growing so slowly up until I made a growbox for them.
