I foliar feed my plants till a week or so before harvest... outdoor plants get rain and they make it too, I suppose an extremely dense plant that's more susceptible you should be careful.....a fine mist without lights on or before sunrise will be fine ll the way through its life cycle. That's how most of my plants receive their calmag requirements

Most of the time in Veg. you'll foliar feed with your NPK nutreints.
In flower you usually switch up to supplements. like Snow Storm, there are others.
I allways spray with water the next day after I foliar spray.
Just be aware of the dangers of doing it, High Humidity, High Heat, No air movement. you want to avoid all those things.

i use dutch masters liquid light and penatrator
they suggest best use of there product is with lights on
wet down with a fine mist 2 to3 times a week
and it can be done up untill halfway of flower

they also suggest a good air flow
and oscelating fans

i been following this for years

don't know why you would foilar feed your plants at any stage
the roots should give the plant everything it needs using good soil and nutes
