Hi I am curious I have been trimming my plant and have quite abit of leaves. Just coming out of veg. I am using a DWC system at about 1.5 EC are theses leaves good for hash/edibles or is the nute content going to be bad? Cheers

Nah, man. All is fair in the hash game. Although, you get out what you put in. Sort yourself out with some bubble bags, and give it a try. @Twitch has some excellent tutorials on concentrates. You will want to start there. Cheers.

If the fan leaves that you are pulling are coming off plants that where or are in veg the leaves will not have the thc content you are looking for, for hash or edibles. They will have oils and waxes that can be pulled out that are great for topicals hand creams and hair. My wife actually likes the wax that I pull off of fan Leaves for her hair... she swears by it says it gets rid of all the dead end.

I hope this helps

At this point, just coming out of veg, you probably won't have a great concentration of THC. Once you get into flower, however, be sure not to trim. You want your plant under as little stress as possible during flower.

Can't make hash from fans really. You need lots of sugar leaves.
Yeah, but I always throw in some of the upper fan leaves as long as I'm at it. The farther up the plant you get, the more likely the fan leaves have trichomes on the stems and the portion of the leaf closest to the stems. I won't go to the trouble of brewing up a bucket of hash if those were all I had, but as long as I'm making it anyway, what the hell.

I actually give all my shit to a friend who swears by it for butter to make edibles (cookies). I would just burn the stuff because it never amounted to anything in the BHO pile. If I make hash (dry sift) I use pure bud to make it worthwhile. With the extraction I use everything but the sun leaves. And yup, you get what you put in re quantity :).

I throw fan leaves in my salads, and especially any new shoots I trim off. Mostly ends up in compost though.

I once had a nibble on a stem, I honestly don't know what went through my mind that time, but it tasted all right I guess.

But from the leaves and stems one can make TEA.
