Hi all,

Seen enough posts on here about this Dyna Gro Foliage Pro from start to finish to make me a bit intrigued. Going to give it a shot this run. Has anyone used this with ocean forest? And when and what doses have you used with the Foliage Pro?

I have used it in random used soil and in coco. Top and bottom feeding. I just make it 700ppm 6.0ph and enjoy nice growth. I always feed every watering.

Going in fresh soil need to hold off on the feedings for a while I’d imagine. When starting to feed maybe try one plant first and make sure that’s what they want.

Don't.

Use the Grow formula instead in flower with a drop of Foliage Pro for the extra nitro the first 3 or 4 weeks. I tried your method before and it starts to fail by the 5th week with too much N and too little P and K issues.

If you are using all Dyna Gro nutes make sure you are using R/O water.

Don't use any nutes for the first 2 or 3 weeks while using Fox Farms OF. After that use 4 ml of Foliage Pro per gallon of water. If you transplant to another pot for flowering wait 1 to 2 weeks before using any nutes because OF has a lot of nutes in it.

Once flowering switch over to the Grow formula for more of the P and K and less of the N. 4 ml per gallon of water.

I've done both organic and synthetic. IMO indoors organic can be a bit of a pain. I used Dr Earth and while it worked well, once you notice a deficiency, it's a bit difficult to get back on track. Organic ferts take time to release, while synthetic is fast acting. Just my 2 cents.

I'm beginning to think it's an myth that the higher N is not needed past week 4-5 in flower. Everyone I know that focuses on more P and K always ends up with yellowing leaves and deficiency by week 5-6.
