got a question. during my grow i was spraying the leaves with plain water. now that i am in flowering (this is week 5) should i still be doing that or will it ruin the buds..... here is a pic:

Won't hurt buds as long as its just plain water, if u wanna do it with any nutes then do it when the lights aren't on. Have u ever thought of toppin or supercroppin/LSTin those plants might help ur yeild and maybe produce some bigger nugs.

I wouldnt spray at all after you put them in flowering. The moisture could cause mold in your buds.

Yeah it could if the humidity in ur grow room is too high, but if u humidity is ok and u spray down ur plants right when ur light cycle starts or like 15-20min before it starts u shouldn't have any problems with mold. My plants rn't budding yet so I spray even when I have the lights on I know ppl say it will burn ur plants but I think that is more if u have nutes in the water ur sprayin on ur plants cause of the salts in it combined with the water it can burn the plant. I don't think its as likely to happen with just plain water, and the fan helps to dry off the plants before the water can hurt em IMO.

After much research,I do not spray at all anymore.Depending on method it is ok for seedlings and rooting clones. My babies do just fine with what I provide them.

nice plants bro
unless you feel like you need to spray them then just dont spray in late flower

Yeah nah I know dat y I was sayin I only spray with plain water no nutes, well once it get into flowering that is. During veg I will hit it up with a foliar spray with nutes in it.

Soma sprayed with neem oil every 3 days until the 4th week of flowering. I was a little surprised how aggressive his attack was but
it is in his book so I trust it. Then again he must smoke ladybug poop

i spray mines until the last 2 weeks before flowering. and i spray them twice a week using sonic bloom. ive never had any issues with bud mold. and as far as my buds tasting like the stuff i sprayed not even close. as a matter of fact my buds are very flavorful. the only thing i will say is keep an eye on them after youve sprayed them during the flowering phase.
i also spary them while lights are on. when foliar feeding you will want for the stomata to be fully open and in order for the stoma to be open it needs high temperatures. above 85 is very good to start with. or you can also get high frquency music which will also help the stoma open up. when foliar sparying make sure its a very fine mist. and when youre done make sure that any big drops on top of leave is shaken off to avoid getting the leaf burnt from light (like a magnifying glass).

Spraying your girls in all stages of growth is ok just remember do it couple hrs after lights off and have fans blowing on them
foiler spraying is used for immediate def issues but also for supliment additives such as iron and zinc which a person should spray there flowering plants 5 th and 6 th week of flower
i do a 4 day schedule day 1 feed soil day 2 spray plants day 3 water soil day 4 feed plants seemed to like it really well

i also read above some growers like spraying there girls lights on i would definitely say DO NOT reason being water droplets will form on leafs more or less magnifying the light causing burns and other issues on your leafs think of your grow room as mother nature in early mornings dew is formed out side as sun comes up its evaporated now to have 1000 watt turn on the water molecules dont have enough time thus causing burns outdoor you got few hrs before peak sun indoor you got 15 mins before peak :)

i use dutch masters liquid light
i mix it wit bmo follier

dm suggests to use product up untill 1/2 way through flower
wit lights on

which is whut i have been doing wit no problems

I was under the impression that High temps mean the stomata will be closed

nope. they open up during day time and close during night time. thats why you only foliar spray it when shes awake rather then when shes sleeping. and with higher temps the stomota will open even more to absorb carbon dioxide from environmenta and to release heat

ive done it for the past 3-4 years of foliar spraying it whit the lights on and never gotten burnt leaves.but i do turn off the HID lights and turn on either the closet light or some cfls and then start spraying them. when im done spraying i always shake off excess amount thats on top of leaves. after that wait about 3-10 min and all water should be either absorbed or evaporated.....

I ALWAYS folar feed under the leaves that way no burn !!and the plant soaks up the goodness instead of the light evaporating it:leaf:
