food coloring

I remember back in grade school, you could put food coloring in the water of a plant. The plant would then take in the colored water and would start to look the color of the food coloring.

Given the above, when I start flushing, can the same be done? eg: using an E&F system, if I put a ton of pink or blue food coloring in the water, then let it get rid of the nutes, and take in the color, will it change colors? or will it hurt the plant?

Thanks in advance!

yeah you can do it with bud, and it will change the color, but it makes the plant useless to smoke..it will taste like shit.

i think fdd did a thread on food coloring and a cut and trimmed bud.
