im still hear man and i wish i had an answer to your probly! more fans maybe? i dont know i have 1 250w cfl going with 4 fans 1 intake directed at plants and 3 exhausted and it just holds my temps between 77-82. best of luck im still watching dont lose hope! your plants are looking beautiful by the way!

thinking my humidity is to low as well. looking at 27% so i opened a few bottles of water in the room under a light. hope for an increase in humidty
and thank you for keeping interested . just not as fun if u cant share it with anyone heh

my humidity is hovering around 50 constantly and yah it is more fun when you have a group following your grows.. ive had the same 4-5 guys follow everyone of mine haha its good times on my thread

yeah no one in RL knows about this op. so i only get to share it with you guys lol. well here are the new pictures showing my concerns. the most dmged leaf became like this over night.

side note. they just woke up in these pictures

when lights go off tonight they will be off for 12 hours and going to start 12/12

flowering time! im excited!

yeah im excited also. but heat is most def a problem now. not understanding what is maken the huge difference in heat now. but its apparent that im going to have to find somewhere else to vent my exhaust. atm i have the intake going out my window where it is very cold outside being as its winter just about. but then i have the exhaust just venting into the bedroom the closet is built in... i also plan to pick up a role of plastic and im going to cover all the walls of the closet with that in hopens of insulating the closet better

2x 4inch duct fans should be more then enough to move cold air in and hot air out of a 160sqft closet 5x4x8.. i have a 6" duct fan i can swap in as a intake or exhaust.. but that is really a last resort because the damn thing is so loud. thinking i will need to build somekinda box for the 6inch to go inside then hang from bungies i think. most likely will add this as exhaust. if i can find away to keep it quite

i might even have to make the 12 hour lights on at night time just so i can get that colder air from outside :-/ but doing so makes it very hard to watch there growth

Great grow so far. Just when it's getting really exciting for you. I'm jealous, just starting mine out and keep reading ones like yours from the beginning and just want to fast forward to where you are now!

I am already having a little heat problems. I think my humidity is under control for now. Going to install my ventilation in a week. Never grown with HID lights, or really anything but just a little plant under one CFL just for fun, so I had no idea how much ventilation I would need for a 400w MH light, and I've read the HPS will be worse. Kinda thinking I should've gone with CFL for my first try, def keeps things simpler at first, plus you can use more lights to really control where the light is getting to. I'm worried I'm going to have to supplement mine with some CFLs once mine get going. Love to hear your thoughts on my grow too.

ugh!! just woke up this is when i tend to get my first look at them for the day. but no, lights off till 11am . Checked your grow out lightsgreen looking good so far. cant wait to watch the progress and the difference in the cfls compared to the mh/hps hood

Man, that sucks you can't see them each morning. Mine are asleep from midnight till 6am right now, then when I go to flowering (like forever from now ) I will go to 6pm - 6am. I guess the downside then will be not seeing them after a certain time, but I figured that's when more people might come over to my place so better to have everything asleep.

Did you go 24hrs straight darkness before starting the flower cycle? Some people really like that method to jump start flowering. I haven't decided what I think about it, guess I'll just try different methods as I go.

I tried the 24 hour full dark cycle on my last grow and i didnt notice any difference. so i didnt bother doing it again this time. but i guess time will tell. when they show sex.

yeah I doubt it makes that big of difference. Just might help jump start the plant into knowing that it's time to flower. Probably not enough of a difference to tell, especially considering all the other factors that play in. Only way to tell for sure would be to split them up somehow the night before flowering and do half one way and half the other and then put them back together and see if they act any different in flowering. I think it is only to speed up the switch to flowering though.

well my biggest strongest healthiest is showing balls. thats wonderful... sad sad day for me. going to give it abit longer at most 1 more day before i get rid of it. the others are showing some kinda sex just not sure what yet. going to hunt down 1 of my cameras and take some pics soon.
Side note. my Nasty Ugly clone that was alrdy in flowering and reverted back to veg. has shown sex again and is still female the stress wasnt to much. how ever shes still nasty looking and to soon to have gone back into flowering. but the other plants where the decideing factor on that decision

wish there was a very simple easy non cost way of taken some cuttings and keeping them in veg w/o another room. i dont want to start from random seeds again on my 3rd grow.
and dont trust internet anymore. just closed 3 bank accounts few mins ago because of the instabilities and the bank haven shit methods of tracking down every single transaction. only took me 10 months to finaly give up on tracking down the problem and just close them all

so far 2 of the 4 seem to be very male.

its weird the one hermi the entire bottom half female top balls. camera cant take a clear enough shot. have to find the better one. my guess it i cant just cutt the top off damn

Well they aren't going to release the pollen immediately after showing sex, so give it a few days to confirm. If for some bizarre reason part of the plant has hairs and the top has balls, why not cut it and hope the female part continues? Otherwise you're just trashing the whole plant anyways right? If it turns out to be all male, then just trash the rest of it.

At the entrance of the intake its 44 degrees.
At the Exit of intake 70 degrees (just inside the room) im losen 26 degrees over a 6ft of ductwork.
4ft over under the cfls its 109 degrees atm. with 2 fans on ground pointing up to blow the heat from the lights up and not onto the plants. along with 1 16" oscillating fan.... testing the exhaust temps now.

Ideas? Comments? Are Very Welcome.

Is the duct work insulated? You can lose the cooler air or transfer a lot of heat into the duct if not.
The cooler air will transfer faster to the larger room before it get to were it needs to be.

First confirmed male. camera couldnt get a clear enough shot for pic so heres the plant.

This was my center plant. so it was getting light from all sides and top, was the tallest by far

No the duct isnt insulted but thats next on the list now. just crappy duct.

alright well cut up 2 more this AM so of the 4 3 Males 1 female. Down to My clone and 1 random seed plant. forgot to take final pictures of them. but they looked just like that one but abit shorter and bushier

Well here are some crappy pictures of my last 2 plants. i think you will be able to tell what one is what lol.

Take a look at that close up i took of one of the tops...... This is not the only Odd growth on this plant. i also have a HUGE fan leaf where the center tip its self ended up splitting half way down it. (picture a snakes tong)

Sry about the shitty picture my good camera has broke. the teliscopen lens? malfunctioned and is stuck half way out.

any tips anyone on how to make these plants look more alive? they look like there just hanging out. i want those leaves to stiffen right up
If you notice alot of my FAN leafs are just kinda hanging. cant support there weight, or doesnt want to.

Fed w/ 3/4 bloom nutes today only the normal plant not clone. clone some reason still is very wet.
