...I really just mean that we're modeling matter on non-physical framework, thought. We see stuff and then we name it, etc. Ever notice how everything in your life was there before you got there? Plus, I'm really just happy that there's a thread in here where one can openly 'run amuck'

I'm still confused. Matter and nonphysical framework? Matter to me is very physical, it is particle with mass, particle have mass because of the Higgs field. Matter can be turned into energy and energy can be turned into matter. To do work you need energy. So anything a ghost does that is considered work ie.make a noice or touch something, energy is needed.

ghosts are called unexplainable for a reason bro. Maybe someday the existence of ghosts will be a fact and we will learn more about them and will actually be able to explain how they exist. But until then, asking questions that nobody can answer will only give you more questions with zero answers (<that wasn't meant to sound dickish).

Why can't a ghost absorb energy the way anything else absorbs energy? If a ghost is matter than it has energy, he can get that energy anyway since he is matter and energy...right? I'm probably wrong but it's better to ask and find out you're wrong than to live life thinking you had the right answer lol.

im going off on a limb, but im using how we function here on earth as humans and we eat food for energy and the food we eat gets its energy from the sun and so on goes the chain, so would this ghost feed on the energy available?
one thing i found every time i pass over the travel channel on friday nights and ghost adventures are on, is that this supposed ghost would reach out through a tv or radio that is not working, since this device is not working or plugged into the socket, where is it getting this energy from?
