For The Love Of It 2009 Grow journal

they could be stretched cause I put them out at the end of April when the days were not long yet but as june comes into play maybe they will settle in a bit. I dont know though.

I have new pictures of my plants and I am noticing the ones that are in the sun more are stretched more. Should I top my plants to slow the down the height and let them bush out. Some are pushing 4 ft tall. I can tell by looking at the stem's that if they were to bud they would not be able to support the weight. Please any insight would be appreciated.

haha those plants are crazy looking how they grow just straight up. I'd supercrop and top them. you want bushes and that's what both of those techniques will get you

I totally agree with the guys above me... Im no expert... but those are some of the stretchiest plants I've ever seen. Theyre in bad shape if they dont beef up before flower. The pinching method works good to super crop. That, and also topping them should work well. Maybe leave a couple un-topped to see how the others react. Other than that they have great color and look very healthy!

Man you better hope ones not male or it will ruin your whole crop because those are planted very close to each other.

I think it looks like you need to do some pruning on the surrounding trees. They might not be getting enough sun. And yes top them before they get any more streched out. They look nice and healthy just craving more light. Good luck.

Today I decided to stake all my plants because of the stretching issue. I also topped all of them so the next time I post pics you will be able to see the change.

I smked 3 grams of northern lights on my 21st bday. HOLY SHIT! My head felt like it was 3ft from my neck. Great stuff!!!

Good job dude! I'm loving the photos.

You ought to see them start to get bushier now. Be sure to leave them enough slack in the stake ties to grow w/o getting collared or choked back. They're looking good.
