For you AZ boys. What's your drying method?

I don't have a large crop. It only takes me two to three hours of trimming. Plus a "friend" of mine had me convinced to not flower and provide clones for nothing but a pat on my back. So, incidentally, I am only on my third flowering cycle and behind the curve, sort of speak.
 
I take off all the fan leaves then hang the whole plant in a closet with a small humidifier for 5-7 days then take the buds off and put them in a paper bag for a few days if its still too wet, usually only for 24-36 hours then jar it up. After the jars draw out the inner moisture, if its too wet then, I will just burp the jars for longer for the first few days.
 
I tried the paper bag method this time. I think its working well.

Trimmed them all, 4 people 6hrs. Fanleaves all off and left most of them on the stem. Hung them for 24hrs with a humidifier in room. Then strait into paper bags fromt eh grocery store. 48hrs more. Then they weren't dry yet but slightly crispy to the touch. Now i popped them into curing containers and willl pop them every day for about 30 mins. Humidity in the jars with buds in them for 60 mins is 54%, which im ok with.

I think I might have found my new best method for drying in this dry ass climate. Also I ditched jars in exchange for tupperware. Way easier when you have a quantity to deal with.

I'm glad you decided to try it man. Plastic bags, paper bags and Tupperware are a growers dream. It gives your buds that perfect crispness on The outside, yet nice and sticky on the inside. Hell my white fire is so sticky with this method that after I break bud to roll a joint my hands are covered in trichromes :) even had people offer to lick my fingers it looks so good lol

It's too soon to tell but I think i'll like it. The plants still have that wet grass smell but I just put them into tupperware today. Will see how the smell develops over the next couple weeks.

I have found that when burping I only need about 5-10mins of burping here in this dry climate. how about you guys? I do it once a day for the first 7 days or so. Then just once a week after that.

I burp the same way. I just open up all my jars and come back to my room after 5-10 minutes and put the lids back on them things!
 
Trim the stalks, place stalks in pots under flood table where it is dark and leave for about a day. Then the buds still on the stalk go into shoe boxes and get rotated for another couple days. After that they get cut down a bit and put into 2 gallon glass jars and rotated daily. Then the buds get trimmed off the stalk and put into quart jars. As soon as the moisture level is right the jars stay sealed until use.

Place in 2 gallon buckets for half a day, they will moisten up real nice and then its back to the drying rack for half a day. Then back into the buckets, keep an eye on humidity. If it goes over 70 then a little more time on the rack is needed.

Now just watch humidity, aiming for 55% with the lid closed. Crack the lid open 1/8" to lower humidity, don't let it go below 50 with the lid cracked. When the lid has been sealed for a day and it's 55%, you are good to go. Anything between 50 and 60% will be fine.

Im right at 55% right now with lid closed on all my strains. One of them still smells hella like wet grass though. The others are developing nice smell. It's always the airy fuckin buds that give me trouble. I hate airy strains. My rock hard nugs are always a piece of cake to gauge the drying times.

Yeah thats why I buy those cheap china made hygrometers from wal mart, i put them in the jars to get to 50%-55%

Hellz yeah you can save some over dried buds but once they get moldy it's game over.. I grew out some White Russian a few years back and I over dried but I ended up getting them moist again by putting a fresh piece of lettuce in the jar, worked good too. I dont recommend orange or lemon peels because they will make your buds smell like the peels..Lettuce and tortillas have no smell.

i always leave a plant growing that i harvested mostly a lot of stems and a few leaves for a few weeks after harvest just in case anything over dries, so i can just cut a piece of stem and throw it in the jar and that usually does it for me

I like Celery for rehumidifying.

The only issue I see with overdrying is that when it's done too quick all that Chlorafyl gets stuck in the buds and it smells like Hay forever. Still smokes good though. Just shitty smell.
