force flowering question

If i force flower my plants early to keep the height down am I running any risks to the plant besides the decreased yield. I thought about sog/scrog to keep the height down but decided against it since this is my first grow

to control your plant height you can use smaller pots, netting or tying your plants down. On my first grow on my own (I have helped on a few friends grows) I ended up with only one female. I tied my plant down after it had veged to 1 1/2 feet tall. Now the plant only stands about 2 1/2 feet off the ground and looks to be yielding a very large crop! so good luck to ya man.
