More plants the better when flowering early. They will still grow for a bit though and you should have 6 single cola plants. Not sure how experienced you are with SOG but IMO it's the best method for smaller spaces/single lights.
Also depends on the strain and Indica/Sativa type as far as how it will perform.

Any lights that support the growth of plants can be used to flower.
HPS lights are made specifically for flowering and are a ideal.
Metal Hallide is made for vegetative growth, however it will still do a good enough job to flower, no matter when you flower. You will be pleased with the MH results.

Imo I would let those grow for 10-14 days before you flower them.

but clones are geneticly as old as the plant that it came from so it is actually mature enough to flower properly.
but from seed your basiclly askin a "young girl" to have a baby (bad analogy? )

i bought a 400w HPS yesterday, and i assemble it to my alluminum containered cooler reflector. now 250 MH+ 400 HPS is working, i also close lights yesterday 12 hours.
i want to go flower+vegetative in the same time
could it happen, what should i do to my light cycle.
+temp is increasing to 88F, is it a problem ?

I'd save the 400 HPS for flowering. Stick with MH and then switch to HPS when ready to bloom. Will keep your temps down and should be enough light for what you're working with.

i set my HPS 15min open 15 min close it is now 82F. bro i want to grow these more quickly, cos i cant find any smoke here.. i gave them a little amount of alpha-Naphthaleneacetic acid and alpha-Naphthaleneacetamide. and i topped another ones.. i have one more HPS that 250w
