, my suggestion was merely a petition based on the assumption you made about this thread being dead.Whereas my comments on people being nice seem to fall on deaf ears a lot of times i for one had no problems with his claims of mass yeild. One can only hope that the other time served and credible experts on this site will actually catch up to his level one day as we all seem to be lagging far behind at the moment! Sorry just harmless banter....
Lets not dispute the facts though-
A. He gets crap of trolls
B. He gives crap back
C. None of like crap giving either way
If any part of A, B, C is hard to understand please feel free to build a brick wall and bash with your head many times until comprehension is no longer an issue.
The old greats are dead, i live in an angry society, neither side is right! I feel like a small break down and subsequent smoking holiday in a quiet location. Ahhh they just dont make stoners like they use to. Peace

Well you know how it goes Fab, you try to do your best then somebody bitches about it. So unless somebody does something really bad, I'm just chillin' man, like I did before taking this gig. But still I've managed to remove some duplicate threads and some where a guy was selling seeds but didn't want to pay, and another guy posting for cheap Canadian prescription meds. No need in the members having to wade through that crap; we got shit to do.

I suppose potpimp that your right that its not that bigger deal, hopefully the prof is doing better on his new thread and bad posts can be removed to keep it constructive, suppose it is the way and the best we can ask for.
Maybe i am expecting too much and trying to be too nice, at first i defended the prof but just lost intrest in him when he started attacking back, minor incident but with things getting heated and members taking sides i thought it was time someone stepped in, all over now anyway so in the past.

Thanks man. I saw Uncle Ben, Earl, Heath Robinson, Stinkbud, and several other great growers leave this site because of people flaming them just because "that's not the way I do it". Maybe the Prof is not all he's cracked up to be but he certainly has other credentials that leaves me in the dust when it comes to being an activist.

Being old means you (hopefully) have collected a shitload of knowledge, wisdom and other useful tools to grow better. BTW, have you seen Heath Robinson's vertical grow? Try not to drool on your keyboard.
I didnt mean it in that context, older growers are inevitablly better at growing through the years of experience but may and sadly lack the enthusiasm to post on websites as much as their younger years whereas my generation seems to never get off these damn computers.
I feel that a lot of the older founder Moderators and growers for overgrow and Rollitup have steered the site in the right direction and it is left to new blood and growers to take over the helms. After 14 years here discussing weed i would have little time left for this site past keeping in touch with growers i've met over the years.
The door is not only wide open for new MoD's but also for the next 'Al-B-Fuct' or 'Subcool' to grace this site and claim some fame as well as giving invaluable grow info, let nature repeat itself cause most of them are now off doing weed and internet jobs that pay as far as i see, im sure you too read Al-B-Fucts last posts and know Subcool is writing reviews and doing some seriously nice seeds, i dont think they got the time anymore to rack up some posts on a weeknight in here, for them its probably been done, with new MoD's too can become new Gurus, is only a natural progression in my eyes. You totally busted me on the keyboard letters, LOL. You are so right about Al and Sub; man I miss those guys; they sure know their stuff. There are still some great growers on here and I saw Uncle Ben post here last week for the first time in a couple of years. They deserve whatever sweet gig they get. Oh, and we can't forget Garden Knowm; he has one of the best growing books there is. In my wildest dreams I could become a guru; I'm a good grower but compared to someone like FDD I'm not qualified to smoke his shake. (and by "smoke I don't mean suck and by "shake" I don't mean cock).

Hello, Smokebros here.
I am very interested in becoming a Moderator here at RIU. I have been a frequent contributer on the forums for quite some time, and I spent a lot of time viewing threads before that.
I shy away from name calling others and try and keep things on point. I spend a lot of my free time reading up and trying to learn more information which in return allows me to give back to others.
I feel I have a good way of explaining things to which everyone can understand. All in all I feel my mature attitude, willingness to help others, and experience growing cannabis would make me an excellent choice to moderate a few threads.
-General Marijuana growing (I am very well versed)
-Newbie Central (I take the time to explain things to newcomers the right way)
-Indoor Growing (I am an indoor grower with experience)

They have moved over now, the boards are full of other growers and soon other gurus just like before them.
If you survive as a Moderator and get well known throughout Rollitup and your a good grower and problem solver willing to give advice and always hold your temper and be nice then i'm sure you too could become great and who knows where that will lead, maybe a paying job like the rest of them!loL! If it helps any, I would love to see smokebros as a mod...I have no business in this forum, but smokebros has provided myself, and other noobs, with a plethora of helpful, and useful information. He spends a considerable amount of time on RIU, and actually takes the time to punctuate and have proper spelling and grammer...as far as the name calling, I can it recall a negative word in any of his posts, that i have read....very tactful, and will DEBATE, not argue...again, for what its worth, smokebros should be a mod, IMO...thanks for reading!

Why thank you for that! I stopped by to see if Potroast or anyone has checked on my application and reading that made my day. I think I might have missed the cutoff time which I think was at the beginning of the month. Either way it doesn't hurt to show that I'm interested. Maybe seeing support like that will be what makes a difference
