I did not call you a derelict, and the OP of the thread you have since deleted did not specifically do so as I recall.i closed it b/c these types of threads aren't even allowed. i have leeway in what i can allow.
you can call me a proggie what not. but like it or not i volunteered to be a mod and i'll do the job as best i can

Political speech is protected for a very good reason.
Now you have volunteered for, and received, censorship power over the rest of us.
And now you choose to dismiss my legitimate concerns.
You once called me a tax evader because I chose to leave the economy and return to school full-time to learn a new skill-set.

Nope. I simply shrugged because it was an idiotic statement.
You have been right there in the midst of the name-calling and bickering in the Politics section.
But, as you stated in the DELETED thread. "There is a new Sheriff in town."
A partisan mod in the Political section is a very, very bad idea.
It will chill the debate and drive members who value free speech away. When I say value free speech, I mean ALL OF IT. Not just the speech they agree with.
The OP of the thread you censored has departed as a result of your heavy-handedness.
This is a HUGE problem. If no one else shares my concern, so be it.

If i were a MoD i'd be one diplomatic mofo, keeping my opinion out of any arguments and problems, preferablly i would just MoD and not let anyone know how i MoDded rather just see the results. I am not open to discussion from other members they would just have to accept that i was doing a good job, ultimatley the less complaints members gave the more i and Rollitup would know the job was being done right. Would take a lot for me to ban or cause someone disciplinary actions, i'd rather seek out the good parts of the forum and keep on promoting these and hopefully the haters would get bored and change their veiws. Slow to anger but swift to punish would be my motto, unfortunatly advice is free but money talks.
I give and get back from Rollitup but being a MoD would be just plain giving with little or no reward, being an infamous MoD is of small concern to me over growing great plants.
Fabfun summed it up for me once, he said ''I hope those who are chossen as MoD's dont have to be told how to be MoD's!''
Unbelievable to think that some MoD's have been reprimanded and demoted already, i would not think forums would or could change overnight but more peice by peice and one step at a time, haters respond to authority badly so the only way would be to ignore them not wade in like things are gona change straightaway and them dealt with by punishment. Screw the haters, let them have their say as long as its not too offensive, the rest of the forum and me would just ignore them and slowly edge them out.
I like posting my pointless comments here for some reason, totally offtopic but still dont invite stoned people to your mums house and expect them not to say somthing stupid!lol! Peace

Me too dude, sounds shallow but id be the godamn best MoD going if you gave me cash once a month especially tax free cash, Hint, hint! Other than that it just plain dont appeal to me.
Seriously Potroast i do a wicked back rub, amazing chicken korma and tikka and look great in a pair of blue frilly knickers whilst cleaning that dirty office of yours! Move over Ella and Mary theres a new hot model in town!

Well I would just like to say that I would be a good mod in the Oregon section, and have experience doing this. I was a mod at a gaming site called the Shuga Shack, Now called Shack News for over 3 years. I was one of 3 mods to cover hundreds of posters every day, day in and day out. So I am used to flame wars etc... and know how to be level minded about these things. I may not have the post count as some others here, but I try to keep things on point. You currently have two mods in the Oregon section that have had threads shut down for various reasons, and now there mods. I do not understand this, but I will go with the flow. I have grown hundreds of plants in my time, and have pretty good knowledge of this. I would also consider other sections as well, but I am mainly in the Oregon Section. Thanks for considering me.
