I don't know what all this ruckus is about, and all these crazy solutions.
Leave the fucking plants alone, they will grow however they want. It is a sativa, and it is in minnesota.
It's going to die way before it will flower. This patch will die come october.

Come back during harvest and take what you want.
But no sense trying to salvage a sativa in the northlands.
If it were an indica patch then things would be different.

LOL!

If those plants are from seeds from a wild plant, it seems like the Mom was mature.(Sativas finish in Alaska, but indicas won't finish at the equator.)

If it wasn't for dickheads like you there wouldn't be any thievery in this world would there?
i found a decently large patch of sativa a few days ago and am not sure what to do.

The plant has just began flowering. The males have just began to open flowers (probably less than 5% had opened) the females have barely began to flower, only a few pistils.

I have removed all the male plants and i would guess there are maybe 45-50 females left.

Here is a picture of one of the females

another pic of some girls :)

i noticed when i was pulling out the males that the roots were not very strong. Should i add some top soil, or just do nothing at all? The plants seem pretty healthy as they are.

One of the pictures shows an unhealthy leaf. Is this a problem? I haven't noticed very much of it, maybe just a few here and there. Just don't want it to be a problem later on.

what nutrient(s) should i use to get the best yield? They're about to flower, and i want to know if there's anything i can add to increase yield since i haven't been able to take care of them up until this point in their cycle.

One last question. I was wondering if i should thin the plot out, either by transplanting some of the girls to a different location, or just simply ripping them out. I don't want to rip them out, but if it means that i'll get a higher yield by doing so, it might be worth it.

Wow.... It can be anything really. It's even possible someone was hiking or something and decided to roll up a J or a blunt, and just tossed the seeds from a sack there. Over time it could of actually grown out, with a male and a female and perhaps it just kept growing over the years to the point where there are a bunch of plants now.

Used to visit a homie that lived at these run down apartments, right by the railroad tracks. We always smoked on the balcony and just threw away the schwag seeds across the fence by the railroad tracks. Well one day, we decided to follow the tracks to a 'bridge' to just hang out and smoke. On our way back from the bridge, we noticed something that caught our attention immediately. On the side where countless seeds have been thrown, plants were actually growing on their own. There was good amount of them, but just schwag plants. Still..... man was that something, just finding that little patch along the fence.

It might have been a spot where someone planted a male and it dropped seed then started to grow again... But if it's someone elses grow as tempting as it might be just leave it alone I know if someone found my spot and ripped off my plants/money I would fuck them up pretty bad. Think as if it was all your hard work/money put into it I know u wouldn't want anyone to mess with it and if u plan on taking it over chances are one of the times you go down there the real owner of those plants will be there and something real bad is gonna happen... Or just go there late harvest time if no one has claimed it yet then take it so it doesn't goto waste
how is there so many people on a growing forum that think a male produces seeds? a male produces pollen.

Bad advice kid. irresponsible. but then again im sure you go day by day making choices like that.
bad advice? your a tool. becuase your an idiot who has to run and plant on someones land then get mad when that person is walking around and stumbles on to it. be a big boy and grow on your own land or better yet grow on government land. dont think you can plant a tomato in your neighbors garden and expect him to knock on your door and give your tomatoes to you. hes gunna make some fucking spagetti sauce. and it had already pollenated it, its gunna be 90 percent seed anyway so the owner isnt wasting his time on it anyway. then again you probly would, so stay in school, you dont wanna be growing on someone elses land your whole life.

I am good friends with the landowner. This patch is in an empty field and I highly doubt they even know about it. There is absolutely no sign of anyone being back there. If this was someone's grow then they obviously don't know what their doing, since the males were so developed. I live in an area where there is pot growing commonly, so it doesn't surprise me that I would find something like this.

I just wanted some advice.
The only thing you can do is notify the landowner. The only other option is to walk away.

But you say you are good friends, so you really should tell him.

Even if the patch was planted by someone else without his knowledge, it's on his property. It's his.

But you asked for advice so here it is: Do NOT fuck with someone's grow.

i dont c how you can justify beating someone down if your growing on property that isnt yours, what if some kids find it are you gonna beat them down

this is why there going at growers hard too much violence and security measures by gurillas
thief is a thief no matter how old. My old man would of knocked my teeth out for me.

Oh my god, do you by any chance live in Kentucky? If so it's probly feral hemp left over from the hemp for victory program. If not, you just fucked up someones breeding program that could have been years of work to get it to that point. I'd be so mother flippin pissed if I came back and seen some amature punk killin my prized males. Then again you probly don't even know what weed looks like. My advice, get the hell outta there, just run man, don't look back and keep running till a car hits you.

Fuckin smart ass punk, hope you got a headache from that hemp. And by the way, the only people that "stumble upon grows" are people that are lookin for it. Most people don"t even know what it looks like. Throw some of that hemp seed around your little bike trails and treeforts and jungle jims and see how many people even notice it.
