Four reasons why corporate media refuses to talk about what matters

Six or fewer major corporations control over 90% of the news market. Is it any surprise that what they don't want covered doesn't get covered?
 
They are totally corrupt both sides. I say 12 months that is when the media goes owe shit we are screwed when Trump leaves office, goodbye ratings. It is going to be fun to watch how their reporting changes. For instance would Rachel Maddow still be relevant without a Trump?.

I don't i barely watch the news anymore. The only parts you can believe is kinda when they go to the on scene reporter to get updates. That is usually facts. Once it goes back to the main reporter it's all crap. Both sides. Fox news is like here is our panel with 4 Repubs and 1 dem.... and cnn is even worse here is our panel with 6 dems 0 repubs. Garbage all of it.

Most major outlets don't blatantly lie (with the exception of Faux Spews- they've been caught so often it's become a sport) but they also don't report on anything their corporate masters don't want covered, like wealth inequality or climate change.

Smogdog can't stand the idea of an independent news media so he smears it every chance he gets, even though he talks about supporting free speech and unbiased news.

Both sides get caught lying all the time no one side is better than the other. It is like saying I stole 10 bucks but you stole 15 so your character and morals are lower than mine. Both sides everyday report the news while omitting facts or under reporting some stories and over reporting others in a way and with the intent to drive a narrative.

So the next step is to get better informed. That's why I keep posting articles I find illuminating. I look forward to reading and discussing articles you find informative as well.

Why do you swallow American corporatist propaganda without any thought about its veracity or bias? I'm just asking you to think critically and bring some solid evidence to support your arguments. The day you think that's too much to do for a fellow American is the day you turn your back on everything your service stands for.

Your views are as divisive as the far right. Your doing their dirty work saying the democrats are the same as republicans. That couldn't be farther from the truth.

This isn't about allegiances, it's about the truth.

Looking diligently for it led me to where I am today, a place I'm well aware makes others uncomfortable. Most would much rather wrap themselves in the comfort of their illusions.

I don't care if what I say is 'divisive'; I'm not interested in a popularity contest. Treating politics like football- backing your tribe right or wrong- has brought us to the place we are now. I'm concerned that more of the same will only lead to even less acceptable results.

When the Democratic Party actually stands up for my interests more than those of their major donors I'll be happy to vote for them. Until then I will exercise my freedom to vote for those who will.

You have repeatedly failed to justify your assertion that the Democratic Party has the right to expect my vote whether they've earned it or not.
