Fox Farm Nutrients "versues" Botanicare KIND trio

I used the complete Fox Farm nutrient line up. The grow was ok. I did experience several different issues beginning early in veg stage. As the weeks progressed I was able to get most of the issues worked out with Dr Who's assistance and input. Issues continued during flower stage. Most of the issues were deficiencies in nature. Starting with Cal-Mag and progressing from there. I did use reduced amounts of the line up after reading a number of posts stating: do not use full recommended dosages because most of the FF line up was "hot." I increased dosage as I went along.
The plants were started in Light Warrior soil then transplanted into Ocean/Forest with Perlite and vermiculite added.
The grow went ok overall but I did have to stay on top of the deficiencies and other issues. I am not going to completely slam the Fire Fox line up of nutrients but will say I would not recommend it for new growers. Understanding your plant needs is critical in order to use the line up successfully.

Currently I am using Botanicare KIND trio, Seaweed, Protetk silicon, Cal-Mag and the same soil as before. This grow so far has been a pleasure. The KIND trio is manufactured for hydro grow and coco soil but I am using it with Ocean/Forest soil. It has been extremely easy to adjust the dosages based off of the plant needs. The Veg stage went surprisingly easy. I had a very minor issue within the first week of veg but was able to address it immediately. Since then the grow has gone flawless so far. The plants are very healthy growing and flourishing with no deficiencies or problems. Going on week 3 of flower stage and they are still growing and expanding like crazy; they remain very healthy and happy. Hopefully they will continue to be through harvest. Botanicare KIND trio is what I will stick with for all future grows. Good stuff!

Fox Farm nutrient line up is better suited for folks that are experienced growers.

I switched from Dyna Grow Foliage Pro to Botanicare Kind and I've noticed a considerable increase in speed of growth during the veg cycle. Dyna Grow was easy to use and I'd highly recommend it for a beginner, but I'm seeing enough positive results that I'll be sticking with the Kind line too. I need to see how it performs in flower, but so far the growth has been impressive.

I wish I had done a side by side comparison with both nutes.

Ive been feeding at 50-75 percent of Kind's recommended nute levels thru veg....in FFOF soil.
