If you burned the plants with Miracle Grow soil its because te soil had fertilizer added to the soil right from the start, this is not the best soil to use, however you dont need to use the most expensive soil on earth with Fox Farms, its good soil but nothing special or worth the price charged.

I make my own soil,if you want the recipie & are willing to hit home depot to fetch supplues & are not worried about getting a little dirty from mixing the soil i will post it,if your looking for a pre mixed soil & a one bag solution "Scotts" brand makes a very nice orchid mix soil for very cheap, you just add perlite to the scotts orchid mix & are good to go.

Keep in mind that my soil mix is for large sized grows, for just a plant or two its easier to buy a bag or two of scotts orchid soil & some perlite..

Save the cash from not buying fox farms rip off products & invest in better lighting or get more cfl's with the cash saved.

stays relevant.
just watch your plants carefully... if nutrient burn occurs on lightly fed plants it's because of the soil you're using.

I use Fox Farm Ocean Forrest soil with Fox Farm Grow Big nutes for veg and Fox Farm Tiger Bloom nutes for flowering. Works great.
