Fox Farm question

Some Background: I live in New England. I'm planning to start a grow, but I'm creating a checklist so I can know how much I will be spending in advance. It will be an outdoor grow. This is going to be my second attempt at a grow. (last grow was fail) I've been reading mad, and absorbing everything I can before I actually execute the plan.

Question: So I've been reading alot on Fox Farm Ocean Forest, and from what I hear many people swear by it.

Here is my current checklist:

o Fox Farm Ocean Forest® Potting Soil
o Fox Farm Big Bloom™ Liquid Plant Food (0.01-0.3-0.7)
o Fox Farm Grow Big® Liquid Plant Food (6-4-4)
o Moisture Meter
o pH Soil and Hydroponic Testing Kit
I've also read about perlite, and some other stuff to add to the soil. What else do I need to make this grow work successfully? It's in a wooded area. I'm going to put the plants in pots not the ground.

Any help would be appreciated.

Your trusting a good company to trust FoxFarm. i use their soil in everything I grow, now. The other possibility you might want to look into is, organics. For better growth, you should buy you some organic brew, and some bat guano to sprinkle on the surrounding soil area.

Here are some links, if you have trouble locating either of them...
Llama Brew
Bat Guano

Good luck, man.

really did you wait a month before adding any nutes? the soil kept my plants going for an entire month with no nutes

the Fox farm Trio and Soil are great.... soil will last you like a month before you start to add nutes and ive been using the soil and nutes with great results never burned my plants...

i started out using half the dose of everything as soon as i went 12/12 a month and 2 weeks after veg

O yea I waited 5 weeks before adding nutes. I love the soil but I,m just not sure you need veg nutes with all the natural nutes already in the ocean forrest. I do like a quarter strength tiger bloom and big bloom mix for flowering tho.

I use the FF soil. Happy frog in the cups then Ocean Forest when they are transplanted. For Nutes I use the Humboldt County stuff. A friend of mine maturesmoker use's this Bio Bizz stuff which im looking into my self. His grows are rapid and very rewarding.:leaf:
