Fox Farm Trio...do I need anything else?

So I have the FF trio and I was just wondering if I.should buy anything else later in flower? I see people adding molasses or Cal mag, should i get some of this stuff or will the trio be fine? Thanks for your recommendations!

I'm in FF Ocean Forest in 4 gal containers, outside, Master Kush (indica dom hybrid )

PS. I don't need a long explanation on HOW (but won't say no either lol) but more of just WHAT to get. I can read up on the how later. I'd like to go minimum absolute necessities for a quality smoke. Thanks again

I use the trio, with bud candy.I will not use anything else this round.

Nice just the kind of answer i was looking for. I saw Bud Candy the other day at my hydro shop but didn't bother to ask about it. I will be doing that soon! Thanks again

hey thanks for the rep!I also just use grow and tiger in a soils mix.I stopped using big bloom because of that.

If you are using organic nutes in the soil, don't go by the fox farm chart.I went by the ff chart and my plants where getting over feed and lock out, defenses, with my organic soil.

I still don't go by the chart, but plants look so, so good now that I got my nutes dialed in with the soils mix.

Yea man I learned that much from reading around here lol I used 1/4 strength the first feeding and am now at 1/2 strength and I might go to 3/4 but I'm in no rush bc they're growing so well...I feed every other watering, so every 10 days they get some food

What water are you using?

RO- then get calmag.
tap- you may or may not need calmag, but you will need to ph it
spring water- should be fine

I use floral nectar, I think its alot like bud candy. Or you could keep it simple with blackstrap molassis instead (same concept I think)

I was thinking about sticking with Fox Farms line too...would you need both of these?

I am using spring water, so glad to hear i shouldnt have to worry about cal-mag. My hydro guy told me about floral nectar too and he did compare it to bud candy. Whether he was right i cannot say for sure haha ill probably go with the cheapest alternative though.

When would you guys start adding these? like 4-6 week into flower or...??? Thanks guys!

Hey all, I started out with the trio, dropped the tea now though. Now that I am getting my ph right I'm finding that some of my strains eat up the full strength nutes and beg for more and some can't stand the heat. I am now trying to dial in strengh. I just switched to red wizard soil so it's kind of back to.square 1. Anyone have any recommendations for soil? The red wizard is pretty local to the pacific nor'west but it was developed by a grower and picked up by a small soil company.
