I was just wondering how you all use your fox farms liquid nutes.. this goes for Grow big, Tiger bloom, Big Bloom only. Please post amounts /per gallon, type of fert, how often etc w-e. just wanna get an idea of how you all do yo thang. I currenty do 1 tsp per gal for veg of grow big, occasionaly throwing in some big bloom for some extra micronutes. For flower i do 1 tblspoon of Big bloom and 2 tsp of tiger bloom per gal.

i was told to start off with 1/4 of the dosage on the paper that came along with the nutes as fox farms nutes tend to be a little hot, and to feed every other watering... after a week i was told to increase dosage by another 1/4, so that after four weeks of feeding they would be getting full strength of the recommended dosage.. i was also informed to wait atleast two or three weeks from seed before introducing any kind of nutes to them, and it seems to work out well.. i thnk my full dose is 3 tablespoons of the grow big and three teaspoons of the bigbloom, but it varies according by the week..
if you need, i could go and get my feeding schedule that came with the nutes and tell you what it says if you don't have one..
i was also told to get the additives.. the cha ching beastie blooms and open sesame as these really increase yeilds and your plants will love them.. the schedule only calls for a really small amount of these as they are way strong..
but like i said, if you need it, i would be more than happy to post the feeding schedule from the paper if needed..

3 tablespoons of Grow Big??? No wonder you think the nutes are "hot". For "heavy feeding" the bottle suggests 2-3 TEAspoons per gallon once every 2 weeks!

I stick with the 1 teaspoon per gallon for every feeding, and it does really well.

My Hydro shop was out of Tiger and Big Bloom, so I use a different company for flowering, but I'd probably still just follow the directions.

FOX FARMS SCHEDULE

Product list:

Grow Big--$16
Tiger Bloom--$16
Big Bloom --$16
Open Seseme--$23
ChaChing--$23
Beastie Bloom --$23
And the Optional : Bush Doctor Sledgehammer--$26

There is a 3-pack available for $65 of Open Sesame, Cha Ching and Beastie Bloom IF you can find it!

The last 4 Products are used in small quantities and only at specific times during the grow -- so if you know someone who wanted to go in on the 3-pack with ya, it would be worth it!

Here's the FoxFarms Feeding Schedule for Soil... Hydro is MUCH more complex, unless you use bubblersthen you can follow a Phasic feeding schedule (At end of weekly schedule!)

FOX FARMS FEEDING SCHEDULES

WEEKLY FEEDING- per Gallon
Sprouting and week 1--BigBloom 2TBS
week 2-- 2tsp Grow Big + 2TBS Big Bloom
Week 3--3tsp Grow Big + 2TBS Big Bloom
Week 4--JUST 3 tspGrow Big + 1/4 tsp Open Sesame
Week 5 same as week 4 unless going 12/12--

Week 5- OR--day 1 of 12/12-- 2 tsp Tiger Bloom +1TBS Big Bloom + 1/2 tsp Open Sesame
Week 6--same as above
Week 7-- 2 Tsp Grow Big + 2 tsp Tiger Bloom +1TBS Big Bloom + 1/4 tsp Beastie Bloom
Week 8-- 2Tsp Grow Big + 2 tsp Tiger Bloom +1TBS Big Bloom + 1/2 tsp Beastie Bloom
Week 9-- 2 tsp Tiger Bloom +1TBS Big Bloom + 1/4 tsp Cha Ching
week 10-- Same as above
Week 11--2 tsp Tiger Bloom +1TBS Big Bloom + 1/2 tsp Cha Ching

At beginning of week 11--Check Trichomes-- Flush if ready.. otherwise, continue as with week 11 every week until you flush!

Also recomended--but not a nessesity--
Bush Doctor Sledgehammer (prevents lock-out)
use 2 drops per gallon of water between feedings starting in week 4 of 12/12

PHASIC SHEDULE: (per gallon)
(follow this for bubblers, OR you can use these amounts when watering in soilbut is not as good as the weekly schedule for soil!)

New Clones, or when seedlings get 3 sets of leaves- 1tsp Grow Big + 2tsp Big Bloom
Week 3 of veg (unless going 12/12) ADD 1tsp Grow big + 2 tsp Big Bloom
4 Days Before going 12/12- Add ¼ tsp Open Sesame
Day 1 of 12/12 Drain Reservoir & refill. Add 2 tsp Tiger Bloom + 1TBS Big Bloom + ½ tsp Open Sesame
Week 3 of 12/12Add ¼ tsp Beastie Bloom
Week 5 of 12/12Drain and refill reservoir Add 2 tsp Grow Big + 1 tsp Tiger bloom + 1 TBS Big Bloom + ¼ tsp Cha ching
3-5 Days Before harvest-- Drain and refill reservoir add 2 drops Sledgehammer

keep the res filled in between feedings with ph adjusted water--

The reasonFox Farms doesn't list nutes for weeks 2 & 4 is that it ASSUMES your res won't go down, so you won't NEED any additional nutes (if your res stays full- great!)..
but if the plants are pretty big, or the room is warm/dry-- they can need refilling up to 3-4x a week!!! The chart doesn't take that into account--
Remember-- feed AT MOST 1x each week-- only water in-between!
Use additional nutes from week one at 1/2 rate until in flower (between recomended feeds) then in flower-- for additional feeds, use the nutes from the 1st week of flower at 1/2 rate in between...again--NEVER feed more than 1x a week!

Bubblers MAY use the weekly Schedules-- BUT ONLY if you use an ec/ppm meter to keep the levels where they should be....
an ec around 1.2-1.5 in veg.. then 1.5 -1.7 in flower unlitt the last 2-3 weeks... then can go as high as 2.0. Watch yor plants! they'll tell you if you are over/under feeding!

Yea I been using FF line of products for at least 2 years now.

I used there ocean forest mixed with perlite

I used there soil lines all of them combined as directed when making "Moonshine Soil Mix" which is a super soil!

I also use there nutes for my plain DWC. I do not have a water pump just 4 10 inch air stones running off of two good size air pumps. In a 10 gallon tote of course, 3 system site. It is a DIY I made myself.

I am using just started today hygrozmye stuff and liquid karma. Guy at the hydro store told me to buy clear ex to flush out. I believe i missed that week according to ff schedule but can do it next change out.

When it comes to the DWC, It is my first time, however I have been using reduced feedings of all products I use.. I consider myself a newbie still. I also clean out the tub and flush it out with several gallons of tap water which is readily available from a hose with sprayer. The force from the sprayer helps remove residue build up.. plus I have a drainage...

Just some extra steps to avoid me screwing up... I have had some trial and error, hopefully adding the liquid karma and hygrozyme will not do any harm to my plants.

I love Fox Farms line of products, I am just not convinced about there soluables...but then again I am new...

When my plants are two weeks old I start giving them big bloom at half the strength. If they show no burn, at the start of the fourth week they are getting full strength big bloom. I just started my first week of flowering. I gave them one teaspoon of tiger bloom and a teaspoon and a half of big bloom, that is half strength for both. If in two weeks they show no burn and so far no burn, I'll up it to about three quarter strength and if no burn after a week of that I go to full strength. My partner who is hard headed, goes right to full strength and burns his plants every time.

The solubles are working wonders in my garden. The beastie bloomz doubled my bud production the first feeding overnight.
