So i hear fox farms soil quality is diminishing as the years go by, hows it worked for you guys this year? I'd prefer to hear from people who've actually used it, no speculations or opinions ive already got toilet paperhttps://www.rollitup.org/images/smilies/icon_razz.gif, thanks guys

If you were to say...regenerate some plants after you trim most of the flowers off..
and then transplant said flowering plant into Fox Farm Ocean Forest and let sit under 100W HPS for two weeks. You will have one big ass bushy mama cita....That I know as a fact.
Good stuff, has done wonders for my tomatoes...lovely, sticky, stinky, heavy..........tomatoes

its awesome shit, the best soil ive come buy so far, and its worth it to me even though its very expensive, all I do is mix a lot of perlite ....and my plants explode!

I think if mixed with sat perlite or the like its the best for ur cash personally but is also good right out the bag I usually mix half ffof a quarter happy frog then a quater perlite... With a little lime and guano and just a pinch of kelp. They seem to love it though I'm an outdo' by choice it does well for me inside as well thus far.. Never had bugs or random sprouts from the soil itself

I've got two 40 pound bags on order from the big tomato. They have free shipping this month for those that don't kno. My quick question is does it matter what kind of perilite I mix it with? MG ok?

Fox farm ocean forest is great this year I have been using it with no problems at all. I do cut it with some perlite for better drainage. As far as quality goes I have not noticed a difference.

I would say no to mg perlite as I believe ALL mg has time released fertilizer I would highly recommend fox farms perlite.. I'm assuming u don't have a hydro shop selling this if not google american agriculture or indoor hydro garden and lights (they're bpth in the portland area but will ship.. And american ag always includes samples when requested.

Any perlite except MG. It has nutes in it already. I just dont like the whole "soil for dummies" thing they got going.
If used at the right time, Im sure its ok, but not worth the risk IMO.

Left out, its just another soil.

I did a comparison with FF with FF nutes, ProMix with GH nutes and MG with just water. Used clones from the same mother. MG gave best yield. (but not by much, about 5% more)

i heard them dudes started using a higher quantity of peat rather than the shit of random animals, could be a anti fox marketing ploy

I dont know, I use the MG perlite, and it seems just fine, I never get nute burn or anything....I even use it for seedlings...
