Fox Farms is great and you should follow a cycle of water-dry-feed-dry-water-dry-feed-dry-water-dry-feed. However many days it takes for soil to dry varies depending on many factors such as humidity, ventilation, plant size, temperature, etc.

^ good advice. Also starting to give nutes will depend on your medium as well. If you are using FFOF, like many others do, the soil is pretty hot on it's own and has more than enough food for a good 3-4 weeks.
