Foxfarm?

hello,

I've been growing for about 3 months and have been trying to familiarize myself with the process before kicking into a higher gear. I'm 3 weeks into my second grow and I want to start using foxfarm nutrients. my first grow is still flowering, and it is fed with just a home made concoction and though the results are somewhat decent, I see no sense in reinventing the wheel (or to put it bluntly, making a mess in my house that smells like shit) when i can have much better results with a simple solution.

now i've already used this site's search feature (along with it's demanding algorithmic conditions) and have googled it (most of the results point to this site) but none of my questions were answered.

I'm using soil right now but what is the best way to apply it? should i just follow the directions on the bottle?

I also plan on switching to hydro for my next grow - can i still use the same foxfarm nutrients that i used in the soil or should i buy a small bottle right now just for the soil use (so it won't go to waste once i make the switch)?

and also just for the fuck of it, some pics of the two grows i have going:

Fox farm has nutes for hydro and soil. They are different in strength. Most nutes ya want to mix with water.
