dam those looking nice in the raised beds. That christmas tree looking one gonna be phat it must get lots of light eh
where u get the bags ive been looking everywhere from where im from and no one has them do i have to go to like a major city like Toronto or sumtn.

the unknown animal prob smelt/heard a bug it loves in that bag and tried to eat it or sumtn or its curiouse at the unknown plant that its never seen before and was just tasting/exploring it those are the only reason an animal wood do that id say.

Most of the plants out there get quite a bit of light, probably 8 hours a day +. The raised bed gets the least, but those plants seem to be doing alright. I got my grow bags from my local grow shop, I haven't seen them anywhere else. They're not too expensive, but they're one use only as the sun really does a number on the plastic over a summer.

I've had some pretty active weather here the past couple days. I went out in the middle of a thunderstorm a couple of days ago to check on them. When I got there, the plant in the middle of the raised bed was laying down on the ground and a few of the plants in bags were sagging pretty low. I waited out the rain, and brought along some string and stakes to give a little more support to the ones that needed it. The middle plant recovered within one day of sunshine.

The plant that got dug up by an animal and left to die is making a nice recovery. I didn't think it would come around so quickly.

Thanks! I hope the fall weather is merciful...I've lost a few tops inside now to mold. The humidity just won't drop off.

Hi all, not too much to report. Something was digging in my bags again. It seems to only happen right after I feed/water them. I've heard that squirrels will watch other animals hide their food stash and then go raid it. I'm wondering if something like this is happening. I've got a ton of squirrels around and when I do my watering I'm always squatting down next to the bags and breaking up the soil surface, maybe they think I'm stashing my food? The holes being dug now are pretty small. I'm hoping they gave up and realized there's nothing but dirt and roots in there.

I put a full-sized barrel (I'm pretty sure its a 55 gallon) in the raised bed fora size reference. The plants in bags are around 6 feet by 4-5 feet across.

A few more pics from today. Still growing big...I should start getting some actual bud formation within the next week or so. Check out the spider nursery that was built at the top of one of my plants! Hopefully they'll keep the number of pests down around that one. Mama spider is usually hanging around, but I didn't see her today.

the gals are looking nice they big and bushy, have they all shown sex yet

spiders are great and also not so great since they also kill and eat benificial bugs too thats what happens when u on top of food chain bug-wise

Thanks guys! These ones are all from clone, so I don't have to worry about pulling males. I'll save that for next year when I plan on starting a couple from seed.

I'm hoping the spiders will take over where the dragonflies left off. They're all dying off now, but they were a force while their numbers were still up.

Damn freddie lookin real nice! Got some bushes there. Im hopin the moisture goes away too, its pretty bad here and my girl is just startin to bud.

Took a few more shots today. They seem to be running behind last year's plants, but we'll see what comes off them this year. They're all flowering now, just not as heavy as I'd like. We're supposed to have really nice weather for the next 3 or 4 days, so I'm hoping that'll help to pick things up. I've got about 5 weeks until frost, but it's the heavy rains that come before then that really screw you over. Wish me luck!

Couple more shots from tonight, buds are starting to fill in. It'd be nice if they'd hurry up a bit, they seem to be about a week behind last year's. Thunderstorms on the way tomorrow.

Lookin good freddie a bit farther along than mine, mine arnt that far behind though. Its beening raining for a few days here, but a thunderstorm just hit and its pretty bad outside, been having to go out about every hour and dump the water off the top of the greenhouse as its not draining fast enough, along with the incident that happend with my plant today..

Southern Ontario Here... My Sisters plants are slow bloomers this year, But mine are doing great.

Is there any way you could put a pole somewhere near the centre of your greenhouse to make it have a top like a tent? It might help it drain more quickly for you. I read about the broken branches, bummer, but don't get too upset over it, it's not worth it.
