So I was looking at my Garbage barrel when I thought- Why am I wasting this stuff? Everything in their I paid for and it is all valuable- why pay someone to take your stuff? why not use it? If you think of it like that it's like free money. I can heat my house with my trash, and some of it can be used for compost, some of it can be recycled into paper that I can use or sell, some of it can be refined and sold- I can't believe I've been wasting this stuff- I might have to start collecting extra garbage just to get ahead.

There's a whole lifestyle dedicated to getting all your things for free. It's called the Freegan lifestyle. There's websites and everything about it.

You're welcome to my garbage. Sometimes it's hard only using one big bin for a week, I also have a lot of junk in my garage you might want, like beer bottles and cans.

I don't generate nearly enough trash to heat my closet ... let alone my house. cn

You need to build a steam engine in the house to do that, and shovel wood and coal in it. Then have it converted into electricity so your house can walk by itself.

My 2 year old shits a bin full of dipers a week , advice on turning into power ?

You could ferment it and capture methane or dry it out and burn it for fuel- while drying it you could even capture the moisture for clean drinking water or you could just compost it to use as a fertilizer.

You could use re-usable diapers and wash them by hand.

I always wondered how people coped with them, i have never changed his Butt , i will however , pass on the info , washing used dipers and disposing of its contents is i doubt high on her list of things to do ....

Yes, there's plenty of ways to make it more manageable, and she'd feel like she was making a difference by saving money and also saving the planet too.

I would love to take your trash for you but since I don't drive it would be difficult- I appreciate the offer though.
