Fresh or dry trimmings? For cookies?

So I'm gonna use the trimmings to make cookies.

Do I dry them before, or it's better to use them fresh?

To preserve freshness, would be a good idea to freeze them?

Thanks :)

always use dry material and yes freezing them is fine after. just do it like you would any of your veggies

THC in its acidic form isn't very potent, if at all. It has to dry first so while you may be absolutely right about freshness I would not recommend using wet skuff. I don't remember the science behind it but its for the same reason you don't consume wet buds. Besides, have you tried eating your skuff dry or wet? It tastes horrible. My wife and I have trouble eatting cannabutter at all.

Hi Twistedfunk,
I haven't had the chance to consume wet buds, but if is your experience that tells me to dry first, I'll follow the advice.
Thank you for clarifications!

I've smoked wet bud before (to try it) as well as cooking with fresh leaf. The bud tasted ok, then tasted like crap and I think the only high I got was from lighter fluid. Cooking with fresh leaf did preserve the flavor...which is horrible. If you REALLY like cooked spinach then you may want to consider switching to pot leaves but I thought it was pretty disgusting as did my wife who likes spinach. Dried pot leaf is much more palatable.

The term "high and dry" is coming to mind but not a witty way to integrate it into my post. I must need to go medicate=p

DUDE. you dont like the taste of weed??
well i dont like cilantro so there.

weed tastes great wet or dry.

but yeah munch on some crysnowed water leaf, very tasty. in some countries they sell a chocolate covered hashball as a candy.

but as too cooking. wet weed good on salads, as a garnish, can make an interesting flavor if you like to smoke meat (and no i dont mean penis).

but for baking you need it dry. cooking with it wet makes it mushy, and the increased moisture has to be takin into acount to get the mix right. butter too, cooking draws the moisture out and makes the butter seperate to redily.

but if your gunna do it prison style (thats where you powder it up as fine as you can, spread it out on a hard table, rough up your 4head with some sandpaper, and slam your head against the weed as hard as you can, serious headrush.) you deffinatly want it dry for that or your just askin for an infection :-)
